Boba Fett is the Rory Pond ne' Williams of Star Wars.
But supposedly that is just the beginning of the story.

He'll be back in three books. Just watch.

Is Boba Fett the Kenny of Star Wars? I wanted him to climb out of that Sarlacc more than anyone but let's not keep killing him over and over again!
The blue elephant in the room.
Boba Fett is the Rory Pond ne' Williams of Star Wars.
Oh my God... They killed Boba!!
Since they're like poetry, what with the rhyming and all, I find that I only need to watch three out of the six films.
You bastards!
Seriously though, when is Chewie coming back from the dead?
Where were you in '77?

Speaking of which, who else is annoyed that the current "Doctor Who" showrunners keep killing off cool characters to bring them back shortly after? You can say a lot about Lucas, but when he kills off someone, they stay dead.
Bit of a shame when it comes to Governor Tarkin and Boba Fett, though.

Uh, yeah... that's the exception, obviously. I don't really mind, cause I think he should've left Darth Maul alive instead of replacing him with two mediocre villains in the two other prequels.

I think they should have just done Ventress and Dooku as the two main villains for all 3 and saved Sidious for Episode III.

Well there is also this one...
Don't forget this one...
How wonderfully meta.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Good. Hopefully he stays dead. It was bad enough when they brought him back the first time.

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.
If he falls back into the sarlac pit for a 3rd time I'm gonna lol.

Maybe a clone of Boba will be introduced.

I'm sure that they're talking about another clone. Maybe his daughter.
Ugh. Why'd Lucas have to lamify him...

Thank God I never really got into the EU much...

This is sad, because there is bad EU (Jawas of Doom) and great EU (Twin Engines of Destruction).
I hate that people will judge the lot on some bad eggs.

Don't blame the Marvel guys too much. Lucasfilm had a long list of no-no's they labored under for the whole run. Bringing Fett back permanently was probably one of them. Also recall that Boba was still mysterious and cool at the time. Many fans were steamed over his lame death.
And when it was published, the EU could still be counted on the fingers of one hand, even though the term didn't exist yet. ;)
