I still hope one day someone will make a virtual Lost Cut.

Ignoring the first bit of this one (which is now perhaps one of the most awkward Star Wars moments... ever), the rest is actually pretty good.  Leia's attitude comes through loud and clear.

The most awkward moment ever? Hard to beat Attack of the Clones for awkward moments...

Even Anakin strangely accusing Padme of kissing him is not as bad as siblings about to freaking romantically kiss.

It might be me if no one else does it.  But then I need to upgrade my computer, etc.

Maybe, but then at least a bounty hunter hiring another bounty hunter to send a droid to dispatch poisonous bugs through hole in the window and the whole subsequent scene is much more awkward then twin romance. Even though that was pretty damn wierd to watch.

Luke training with a lightsaber, no sound though ;(

Fixed that for you.

I have a hunch that part of "Training of a Jedi Knight" would have scored some of that as some sort of montage or something...

The sandstorm scene and the lightsaber scenes are really good. They support more of the ESB attitude and help remind the audience of the shocking revelation at the end of the last film. Hopefully, these can be cleaned up and used in a fan edit or two.

So glad to finally see this. Pretty sure it's useable with cleanup, no?

I know I played the exact music in my winamp while watching it, and it was amazing. The video should clean fairly well.

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

It's a shame the audio is so rough in the sandstorm scene. The images are really iconic, the tone is more in line with the events of Empire, what with Luke's solemn attitude, and it's great to see Han reunited with the Falcon.

Though it seems some of the dialogue has either been removed or was never shot. Han doesn't appear to make his famous "wide-awake nothing" declaration about the experience of being frozen in carbon and Lando doesn't explain himself to Han at all.

I don't remember much about it, but could the radio drama be useful at all in replacing Luke's dialogue?

Which music was that?

Moff Jerjerrod's scenes are actually in pretty good condition. The only problem is that they're not that good; the Moff's acting could have been somewhat better. While interesting, they completely contradict how uneasy the Moff is when Vader first comes. Also, the voices are not final and it is definitely odd how the scene doesn't have any of our main characters present.

Yeah, I've spent all day waiting for each one to be uploaded. I just need those two now for my DVD.

Somebody could make a killer black and white cut of the film. The dust and scratches wouldn't be so bad then.

Vader joking Jerjerrod isn't as badass as I'd expected... I think partially because of the angle on Vader, and partially because of Prowse's voice.  I do love the satisfaction Jerjerrod has in telling Vader he can't enter, though.

Jerjerrod's conflict, though... WOW, even with no music I can seriously feel the suspense.  Epic scene.  With some cleaning up and added music I think the scene would SERIOUSLY be awesome to put back in for a fan-edit, maybe even Revisited.  It's a great little subplot.
