good point. i agree with bingowings about the menu screen.

As I said before on the other thread these look like mockups done on here to illustrate a proposed change which is why I took Angel's misunderstanding at face value.

If someone on here had proposed such a change and had illustrated it that way we would be complimenting the artist at doing a good rough stab at illustrating the idea and if it was popular and made sense we'd be trying out different ways to get it to look the best it could.

If it was in a fan edit we'd be saying that it wasn't bad but as the official release in a version full of the same old cock ups it's half arsed.

Nice clip Ady, but nobody's mentioned what I think is the main focus of the clip, and that is:

Threepio no longer breathes!  Yes!  My biggest pet peeve of the trilogy, besides Vader's jiggly helmet.

And the distance between the Falcon and the Slave I feels more comfortable as well.

Well, not necessarily. :) The main reason the jump took so long in ANH was so we could have a good introduction to Han´s character; there is no such situation here so jump to the jump. :D Fett could also very well have borrowed the data from the imperials, as Vader have ordered for the most probable destinations to be determined; Bespin could be one of them, and while it would be a poor choice if your ship has a functional hyperdrive, it´s clear Fett figured out the Falcon had problems, to the point he relocated to the Avenger and had his ship placed among the garbage to be ejected. Anyway, the matter is settled but it´s fun to imagine what was on those characters minds... :)

It would probably be easier to cover the strap for the exterior shots than to expose it for the cockpit shots.

Adding more muck to the top of the helmet is probably not necessary because it could have been rubbed/cleaned off by being brushed through the snow and ice while dodging the walker foot.

It's largely been delayed because of terrible unforeseeable events in Adywan's life but the the general ETA is 'when it's finished'.

yes! the chinstrap has changed. i was going to say that the lines weren't an inconsistency on the helmet, as the image was flipped, thus everything would be sort of inconsistent (trick question!).

just a question to the general more learned masses. i heard GL made an initial cut of ESB when he was mid-breakdown which was overall perceived to be terrible. upon reflection he agreed, so Marcia and Kershner made their cut which was the final item.

a) is this true?

b) if it is, does that mean the footage used in this original cut was then useless, so is ESB made out of extra takes and alternative footage?

ALSO, just paranoid here. alot of people have declared they will not be purchasing the blu-rays. does this mean, that legally speaking, if they watch a fan-edit, WHICH HAS FOOTAGE FROM THE BLU-RAY, they will be committing piracy? i suppose we have to be careful what is announced just incase the legal squad start pointing fingers.

Seeing as most of these fan-edits a long way off the route around this I will be using is to buy them second hand from a charity shop.

That way I have the discs legitimately, the charity has my money and I can download any edits made from the discs.

Hello all,

I have looked high and low and am unable to find (or completely download; on PB I'm stuck at 76% with no hope in sight) the Purist Edition of Revisited. Short of pulling my hair out, I don't know what to do...

Could anyone be kind enough to lead me in the right direction? A PM, a treasure map, something? This is the last Adywan standard DVD project I need to complete my set.
