It's much harder for me now as I couldn't care less about most mainstream music. I don't listen to the radio or watch...what did they used to call those quaint little things............music videos? But I will say that some of Al's best has been based on stuff I had no clue about. I'm sure <span style="text-decoration: underline;">lots</span> of Al's fans had never heard of Chamillionaire before "White and Nerdy", yet it's one of his best tunes. :)
Some of my favorite Al songs are originals, or at least style parodies.

^DUH. I've mentioned many fanedits in relation to the exact movies they were talking about and I get zero response every time. I don't even bother anymore. I'm surprise yours was even acknowledged, especially since everyone knows you don't care about video game music and you post at a video game music forum...

I was almost as disappointed that no one responded to my "blog post."

The funny thing is my original post has 15 +1's, so I know there are people who at least support the effort.  But the lack of response lately has been strange.  I keep telling myself not to bump the thread until the edit is done, but I can't help myself.

I can't believe no one liked the Garmin ;-)

 

 

Oh, and I'm tempted to just keep posting fake blog entries.

Since the video games thread is currently dedicated to political discussion, and the politics thread is currently devoted to Xhonzi's link clicking habits, I am going to hijack this thread to talk about video games. Thanks.

 

I FINALLY found a port of System Shock 2 for OS X that works on my MacBook! I've wanted to play that game for years, but haven't had easy access to a computer that could play it. Going to tackle it ASAP, feel like I have been missing out on something all this time.
