Pamela Francis was one of Britain's best-known Script Supervisors, working on such notable films as Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), An American Werewolf in London (1981), Star Wars Episode V: The Return of the Jedi (1983), Never Say Never Again (1983), The Little Shop of Horrors (1986), Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (1988) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Pam began her career in the publicity department at Pinewood Studios, moving in 1955 to Continuity (as the Script Supervisor role was then known), and worked on such classics as Bridge on the River Kwai (1957) and Billy Liar (1963), Following their work together on The Innocents (1961), Pam married cinematographer Freddie Francis.
