If I just wanted to piss people off, I'd run "2 Girls, 1 Cup" on an endless loop in Time Square's Jumbotron.

“Always loved Vader’s wordless self sacrifice. Another shitty, clueless, revision like Greedo and young Anakin’s ghost. What a fucking shame.” -Simon Pegg.

Combined with the stupid scene from ROTS where Ani & Obi twirl their sabers in tandem played over-and-over in a continuous loop.
This was an amusing thread. Good necropost, Twist. Also, very creative ideas on a new Star Trek series.
I'd do what YIYF said he'd do all those years ago. I'd cut it off and show nothing, then sit back and watch the world go to hell, hopefully followed by the rewarding experience of seeing how they begin to cope without it.

I'd begin Crusade from scratch and incorporate the haunted spaceship from Legend Of The Rangers into the story (perhaps as a slightly crap replacement ship should The Excalibur get destroyed) both spin off ideas had potential but were screwed up from the start.
With you entirely with Caprica but I'd also give The Sarah Conner Chronicles three more seasons and Dollhouse at least one more (if you chucked out the 'lets end this quick' episodes)
Firefly could run for at least seven seasons but you could ease the actors back in with a couple of mini series first (rebuilding the sets again would cost money).
I'd also do straight adaptations of William Peter Blatty's connected novels (The Exorcist, Twinkle, Twinkle, Killer Kane, Legion and Dimiter) as a mini series with the cross over actors played by the same characters and maybe some added interstitial material.
I'd also would have done the other Dune books in the manner of the SyFy miniseries.
Twin Peaks could do with a continuation twenty years on.
Ooooh, maybe I'd transmit audio book readings of Fahrenheit 451 and 1984.

Caprica, Dollhouse, Firefly and Twin Peaks all deserved more.
I'd also give Angel at least one more season - it kept getting better every season and they killed it! The show Wonderfalls was a great short-lived series as well that I think earned itself more than half a season.
And I'm always down to see more Arrested Development.
"Planet Earth" "Blue Planet" "Life" on nonstop loops.
I have all the currently available "Life On Earth" spin offs on DVD find them a bit difficult to watch though as they are almost a brutal as watching the news sometimes.

This thread for next director of television.
I would force everyone to watch The Goodies. It doesn't quite hit the highs that Python does, but overall it is equal to or greater than Flying Circus IMO.

I used to think the same until I saw some again.
Flying Circus is a skit show, while Goodies is a more of a regular half-hour comedy. While Circus had the luxury of deciding the length of any given skit; Goodies used a format that retained their basic characters throughout the show, as well as having a semi-coherent story running the length of each episode. This would plainly be harder to do and I think that is the reason why I think they may be better.
The Goodies also made 72 episodes versus Python's 45. Python's absurd humour is definitely funnier at its peaks but they were playing in a safer playground. Gilliam's art and animations also helped a lot in defining their uniqueness.
I watched The Goodies again a couple of years ago afraid that it would not live up to the memories. It did, and then some. Although I will admit to possible herbal enhancement ;)
Clockwork Orange.
After that, Pink Floyd's The Wall. Then, Yellow Submarine. Finally, everyone would watch the dream sequences from The Bear.
Maybe Pink Flamingos.
