Ditto that...and thanks to you as well, g-force.  Your scripts have proved invaluable to this community ;)

You're welcome - what did I do? ;-)

If you're referring to the Pwnage Edition, I should mention that was built off the previous work done by Arnie.d and Darth Editous (here). And of course Belbucus, who not only did the audio work but also advised me on the colour tweaks and noise reduction.

Ahhh . . . the good old days
M wanted to send a screener disc to B, but the postal service was on strike.
One thing led to another, then I got a sneak peek too :)
Had been reading some of that thread with Arnie but much of it flew over my head.
Actually seeing it for the first time was a real eye-opener.

G-force you're a class act. It's a pity so many end users won't fully appreciate your contributions.

However, in practice you must take into account the “fuckwit factor”. Just talk to Darth Mallwalker…

I love how people help each other out here.

A lot of the more recent work builds on contributions from other members who first provided files and postulated ideas for possible concepts and so forth.  It takes a lot of dedication to fix LFL's screwups, but I think this community succeeds admirably, especially given what there is to work with.

Ironically, if not for the contempt shown by the films' creator, many of us would probably have taken them for granted and never been motivated to learn about the technical issues necessary for proper preservation, or uncovered associated talents in so doing.  I don't know if I should really feel particularly happy about that, but there are positive benefits that arise from the state of things being as they are . . .

It's weird to think that none of us would never have even really known each other if we were sitting at home with restored DVDs of the OOT in 2001 and then BDs in 2006. A very weird irony.
