On a somewhat (well, not really) related note, could anyone give me a crash course on VaderisnotHayden?
Was he banned? Or did he just leave? From reading some of his posts, looks to me like it was just a guy with an opinion (and a correct one at that!), yet from what some people have dropped, I got the impression that he turned out to be a troll of some kind. Or maybe not.
Just curious, what happened there? Did anything happen at all?

Of course I know him. He's me.
He had a strong opinion and wasn't very tactful with it at times. Which lead to a lot of mix ups. Actually, it was the way that any thread he posted in went way off course that I had the biggest problem with.
I don't think he was ever a "troll". A lof of us agreed with him on different topics. A lot of us disagreed with him. I think with time he got better at respecting other people's opinions whilst sharing his own. But at around that point in time he bailed.
It's too bad. He often had some unique, but worthwhile insight.
Maybe Frink or somebody will remember his last post or something, but I think he just sort of faded away. Maybe he'll come back in 5 years like Stinky.

Hm, yea, sounds about in accordance with my impression when reading some of his posts.
Some very well spoken, interesting opinions. Some really stupid stuff inbetween, as well.
I guess what I found pretty annoying to read were the parts where, after the conversation had descended into the bickering territory, he started doing the "communication history analysis" (you know, the "I posted that, and then you said that, and then I responded without insulting, then you insulted me, and now I remember you insulting me and have included a few jabs towards you, but that's only because, and I only intended to... etc." kind), all in that obnoxiously inoffensive and pedantic tone - can't say it was somehow wrong, but it was annoying to read ;)
Maybe despite, or because I like doing something like that myself at times ;)

I think either he's been misquoted, or he's edited the post to correct the error.
