I think I figured out how to fix the Jedi subs myself, I believe all I had to do was add the interlace=true to all the lines and now it is good to go, msycamore let me know if there is more to it than that.

Here are new screens

Looks great. :-)

Just curious- all the screenshots so far have looked "squished" to me- is that just ImageShack doing that?

They are squeezed 720x480, they have not been encoded to 16:9 yet, this is the lossless avi, to see it unsqueezed you take an image and resize to 854x480 that is what it would be anamorphic.

Thanks. I can't wait to hear your impressions of these when you're finally able to watch them on your HDTV.

It must have been a welcome relief not having to deal with subs in ESB.

Well, the reason I'm waiting for Video Collector's Jedi bootleg, is to finally see what the true line breaks and timings were on the theatrical prints. Most of the timings and references I had when doing my script besides the ones appearing in "Empire of Dreams" were from the LD-captures you kindly sent me, why they are perfectly fine as they are now, I'll update them if the real theatrical ones differ in any way. So it's up to you if you want to wait or just go ahead with it as it is. If so, that line interlace=true is all that you need.

We want you to be aware that we have no plans—now or in the future—to restore the earlier versions.

"2.0 Surround" would be a more accurate description than plain old "Stereo".

Is there a difference between them?

Yes, there is, plain 2.0 Stereo doesn't have real surround content. Where as 2.0 Dolby Surround is the home theater equivalent to 35mm Dolby Stereo.

Wow! Looks great Dark Jedi.

Long time lurker here.

Would love a copy when the there done, I know it's probably a bit late in the day to ask if I can send some discs for a copy, so is there any chance anyone will be uploading this for sharing anywhere?

Damn now I remember you saying that before, my bad, I forgot about that, I can wait a little longer, still have some audio work to do to and at least I can get SW and ESB to DVD now, do you have any idea when you will be getting this bootleg?

They indeed look amazing. Having such an amazing picture from the GOUT with that script, and so many sound options will nearly complete most people's collection I would think. This for me, makes up for the disappointment of the OOT not being on blu-ray.

Here's the corresponding frame from my Jedi boot (Sounds much nicer when we refer to it as the Theater Performance Edition :-)

This is what the subs looked like on the actual film in England back in '83.

Interested parties know what to do.

As I earlier thought could be the case, it was on a single line. :) Theater Performance Edition it is, sorry, Fritz. ;)

You'll have to wait at least a week for it d_j.
