Perhaps a handsome space Captain will be on hand to let us all know what's going on.
The holo-emitter does look fine in that mock up but as always I would like to see it in motion before I can judge if it's an improvement and as always it's Ady's call.

Putting the holo-emitter into the correct spot will be very easy, but...
making it look like the hologram is in front of the holo-emitter will be a lot harder to do.

I'll soon be able to see some of the pictures people have been posting from The Making of The Empire Strikes Back, as I bought a new copy tonight through Abebooks for $48 from the U.K., free shipping. A guy at eBay has a used copy for $45...but I just found out he wants $33 to ship it. :p
Anyway, what little I've seen from it so far looks like it could be quite inspirational and potentially important for Revisited, what with the models and behind-the-scenes pictures.

Good to have a confirmation on this, one way or the other adywan. That's too bad. I would imagine Rinzler could've said 'I don't want to use this picture' if he felt strongly enough about it, but then again, he got a lot of cooperation from high sources. Wouldn't want to lose them by being difficult. :p
When I get the book, I'd love to compare notes with you, even if you just say 'look at this picture on that page,' etc...
I can't remember if it was mentioned before, but are there good pictures of the power generators in the book Ady could use for reference?

Changing the subject slightly, but keeping it on pictures, I thought Ady and some others might be interested to see (not buy!) the artwork being sold here (and shown below, if I've managed to insert a picture correctly!):
I believe Ady has already been given a high quality scan of this image from the Star Wars Chronicles book, but it's still interesting to see. I didn't realise the original artwork showed quite so much to the right of the Rebel Transport.

Its a copy paste that expands the hangar. Subtle fixes here and there to brake the patterns but its the same ;)
