Any preference ?...

But don't let you fool by OT.com's background. (Save it and view it on you computer for exemple).

Yeah, the gray background of the forum makes the lighter one seem a lot lighter.

I vote dark as well.  I've always liked lighter text on a dark background.

Ok Thanks ;)

Quick question here again. How do you think I should make the block text...

Just a mock up here, but you have

1) Same spaaaaaaace, then different lines lenght (sorry if it's not the right word)...

2) Different spaces to make the lines lenght match

True that if the 2nd solution is prefered, rather match the original title crawls for where it jumps from a line to another...

There is less 'order' in the 1) but it may look more natural.

2nd version is easier to read, I like it.

To notice the text is brighter cause there was 2 times the same layer... layered. Notably.

Edit: ok I'm gonna leave it as the 2nd one and won't turn it to the crawl matching. It's ugly.

... And well, true that the "bright" one is not as good:

I wonder now if the LFL FOX DVD logos are not too big. Just a bit.

I'll keep the big white ESB logo then. ;)

I agree.

Don't know if I'm the only one here who thinks this, but I actually preferred the black background to the dark blue (like the ROTJ cover on page 34).  I think it gives the cover more punch, plus I've always liked black with regards to Star Wars.

I've seen enough black covers and I think personnaly it makes too uniform three films that have totally different identities.

Almost there. Next post will be kind of final overview.

Ditto about the black covers.  Anything to separate them some from the official release, the better.

I agree, that blueish color for the logo is quite nice.

I vote blue Empire logo on the back.

Also, and I know I sound like a broken record here, PG on the back instead of G.  The G rating simply makes no sense at all - it's inconsistent with the front, and it's inaccurate to boot.

Other than that, these may be my favorite Star Wars covers I've ever seen!

Oh, and for Jedi, I'd definitely prefer the lightsaber poster to be on the back, with the standard poster on the front, the way you had it before.

I agree CA, definitely needs to be PG.

If you've seen something else, it because it was not finished.

The SW poster has no PG rating though...

I graded Vader's face btw:

(... You'll have the blue logo as a alt cover if I kept it) !

...except for the one underneath George Lucas' name, you mean?

Oh, and the white ESB logo works better in the context of all three, so I change my preference to the white logo.

... Eeerrr... Shit.

And yes for the logos. They're all white.

... And a last alt SW for today.

I'll fix the horizontal covers tomorrow and send the high res stuff to D_J ;)

Haha ! Thanks :)

I was about to change the picture. I fixed something:

Maybe George Lucas' name should be removed since he has divorced himself from the original theatrical cut...
