no reason to double post. As i said earlier, i'm very busy with other things.

When they are up, i'll let people know.

Is it not sad that in this time, we are more surprised by acts of love than acts of hate?

GoodMusician, first of all, as a newbie and a bit of of an amateur when it comes to all things of this nature (in other words, I love to listen to the Star Wars music and I'm a huge fan...but when it comes to the kind of work that you and others do, I wouldn't have the first clue).  So, I am truly in awe of your skills and am most thankful for the stuff that you put out there.  If all we had to rely on were the official releases, then we wouldn't be getting much at all.

Now I've got the sycophantic stuff out of the way (no, seriously, as a fan I'm indebted) I just wondered, having clicked on your link, how do I find this music that you've put together?  When I click, it takes me to a gaming page and I have no idea where to go from there.  I'd really appreciate it you could point me in the right direction.

Many thanks.

So was there a definite answer as to whether or not (a) this was indeed the LSO vs Prague and if so (b) was it from the same sessions as the film recording?

In any case, thanks to this and to your Boston Pops Jabba Theme, I've gotten two concert suites that I've always wished existed but seemed to be MIA.

Incidentally, I've made some mix discs of The Best of SW (one for the prequels and one for the OT) and on the latter, I've cobbled together a decent theme for Lando and for The Emperor from a couple of the score tracks.

"Lando Calrissian" was taken from Lando's Palace and Betrayal at Bespin.
"The Emperor's Theme" was taken from "The Emperor Arrives" and "The Emperor's Throne Room."

Now if there were only a concert suite theme for the Droids.

I've arrived a bit too late for the party it seems, but is there any way of getting hold of the Lando Calrissian and Emperor's Theme at all?  I was always a bit surprised that John Williams never did a concert theme of The Emperor's music.  I'd held out in the hope that it would feature in Revenge of The Sith - I think he really missed a trick there.

Was lurking that hold thread and read GM has a concert version of "Han & Leia" from ESB by the LSO ? I never heard about that.

EDIT: Ah ok, I see someone pointed the origin of the track. Damn ! I think I had that CD a couple of days ago under my hand. Well, anyway... It hasn't been recorded in 1980 by the great team we know.

Yeah the LSO has done some re-recordings under 2 different conductors, both suck i am afraid.

Has anyone done a complete score for Attack of the Clones And Revenge of the Sith.  What about a better presentation of phantom menace than the awful 2 disc set put out by sony.

Speaking of John Williams has anyone done complete score reconstructions of the 4 indiana jones films ?

I have TPM on vinyl, but it is only a double picture disc of the single CD version.

I too am looking for complete scores for AOTC and ROTS, but so far no results.  I think GoodMusician has them, but hasn't had the time to upload just yet, which I completely understand.

I came across yet another eBay auction for a 3-disc set of ROTS.  He/she is based in Italy.

Here's the pic from the auction:

Of course, I would much rather get them from folks here.  :)

*IMO*, GoodMusician's TPM reconstruction and guesses on it is amazing... And I'm -justly- amazed there isn't more feedback or discussion here around about it.

... It would avoid to have questions as this one:

What about a better presentation of phantom menace than the awful 2 disc set put out by sony.

Unfortunately I don't think GM has given something else than a mp3 version. I don't care besides, cause I don't care about that score. I'm just saying GM's creativity through retrieving the tracks and reediting the whole score as it was composed is great and has nothing to do with the releases. It's completely different and you see then revealed again J. Williams art of story-telling through the entire score.

(Edit) Also, I don't know if it's still findable through Youtube or so but GM's reconstruction against the picture for the battle of Naboo is worth to be seen (you'll witness all the butchering from Lucas and his friend, a guy called Ben Burt) !

AOTC & ROTS haven't been composed that way, and are not really that interesting as "complete" then, notably because of SFX's and some low quality sources. Maybe GM would confirm as he seems he has appreciated the 2-disc versions I made from every bootleg that were available at a time, instead of 3...

Some people here have had these two from me at a time (a Flac "remastered" version from the mp3 sources), if they want to share these by pm or any other way I have no objection.

Yeah, it's just ridiculous what people charge for these things.  Unfortunately, there is always someone that will pay it.

I had ABC's versions at one point but no longer since a hardrive crash.  They were up on mega something or other, lol.

I am sure the links are since expired.  I need to re download all his stuff since my other PC the one that was five years old not ten, died.  While the old one still keeps on kicking.  What a joke.

... And indeed these old links must be dead by now, mostly as they were only shared as a "bonus" to a few.

i found some on the internet (i dont now where they are now)
i have a set that was created by a Netherlander (it uses DVD rips with SFX), he's working on fixing the pitch/speed problems (because of PAL?)

Speaking of John Williams has anyone done complete score reconstructions of the 4 indiana jones films ?

Goodmusician did 1 and 2, someone else did an "Extended Score" of 4 and i am working on compiling a Comple Score of 3

What would be great is the music for the clone wars cartoon series.

Only the film was released on CD.

Other scores i am interested in are Kotor 1 and 2, force unleashed 1 and 2.  And the as yet unreleased Old republic scores.

I think some of the Kotor cues have been re-recorded by a full orchestra for the new mmo game OLD Republic.

Does anyone have the AOTC and ROTS complete scores to share?

I keep contemplating reuploading my sets but i dont' really have the time to update them anymore. Episode I needs to be adjusted via GGCTUK's findings, Episode II and III have more material released via the games since i did them.

The OT though i could upload but i will say that even those could use some touches...
