In defense of Lapti Nek... I always felt that it functions as background music for Jabba's Palace, whereas Jedi Rocks is just in-your-face, over-the-top and annoying.

Yes, Lapti Nek is a cheesy song, but it doesn't really draw your attention away from the action/creatures on the screen. Jedi Rocks on the other hand, is just prequel-level awful!

I'm interested to see whatever you have in mind, Ady.

Back to ESB:R, love the new detail of the shot. Can't wait to see it all come together for the arrival at Cloud City.

1080 is a lot of p's for RotJR. The videophile in me is super-excited, the Revisited continuity in me says "720p!". Eh, he'll get over it. Congrats on the new setup!

I thought you weren't going to change the SE addition clouds and were matching the new clouds to it. I guess the SE clouds didn't live up to the new ones then...

Oh, that's OK then, I was just afraid you were gonna leave Jedi Rocks in. But for me the problem with Jedi Rocks isn't as much the music as the CG cartoons, I'd take a p(m)uppet over CG any day...

When looking at the SE ones they just looked fake and dull. There was no life in the skies at all. Plus it needed some blue sky.

That's actually perfect continuity:

ANH:R 576p

ESB:R 720p

ROTJ:R 1080p

The only problem with that concept is that you would have to continue:

TPM:R 2K (possible but improbable)

AOTC:R 4K (impossible)

ROTS:R 8K (impossible)

But maybe for the PT you could just stick to 1080p.

Or just skip the PT. It's one thing to improve upon effects to an already great film, making a horrible one great is something else. Sony Vegas can't make bad acting good or horrible stories great.
