STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION — Page 332

Jdownloader  is a great program and the only problem i ever had with it was not down to the program but the version of java my PC had. I updated to the latest version of Java and the program runs without problems. Try updating Java and see if that helps.

I have a premium rapidshare account as the free account is pretty useless. Rapidshare allocates free download slots and if they are all full then either your download speed will be really slow or it just won't download until slots become available

So if you have the premium Rapidshare account, does JDownloader detect that?

You can give Jdownloader your account info and it will log in for you. Well, I guess it does, I couldn't figure it out when I was trying to download ********. I'm definately going to try again though. Doesn't help that half the program is in German!

That's weird because the version of Jdownloader i'm using is all in English. Get the latest version from HERE. It's the official site.

To add a premium account just go to "Premium>premium settings" then just click on "add account" and enter your information

Have you seen this page? http://www.fanedit.info/jdown.html

I'd still like to submit a step-by-step guide there, because as soon as I really figured out the program, I realized how very simple it is, and I think the guide could be improved to reflect that simplicity.

If you think you can simplify things, that would be a great help to many in future I reckon.  An easier step-by-step guide would definately be worthwhile for you to bring up to them Ripplin.

Since Boon unfortunately decided he had to relinquish running the site, the new team that's recently taken charge will probably welcome any suggestions for improvements at this point.

Same here.

Having said that...this discussion probably belongs here

(and yes, I'm aware of the hypocrisy)

Oh, I'm not saying we need to talk about ANH:R here, just pointing out there is another thread for RS.

For Caveman and anyone else still needing a good torrent link for the DVD-9 version, a good bet would be on kickasstorrents.com.  Just do a search for "Star Wars Revisited."

There should be both a PAL and an NTSC version of the DVD-9.  You'll get an ISO image of the entire disc and can play it through your PC (i use Virtual CloneDrive) or burn it to a DL DVD.

Can you trust him?  No, but he has no love for the Empire, I can tell you that.

Hey, I'm a total noob and I need help (Sorry if this question has been answered before, I'm to lazy to read all 332 pages xD) I'm currently downloading the NTSC DVD-9 copy of Star Wars: Revisited with JDownloader, I've heard that the NTSC DVD-9 has some problems, have those been corrected with the JDownloader version? And if not, how can I fix the problem?

Also, the version I'm download now has 81 winrar files, is that correct or am I downloading the wrong version? Also, should I have the JDownloader extract the files?

Thanks :D

If they're all 95 MB or so, that's right. And jDownloader will extract them by default. Just let it go ahead and do that. The only reason why it might not is if you need to enter a password.

I'm not aware of any problems on the NTSC version, but maybe someone else can fill us in on this.

I have the NTSC DVD-9.  No problems that I know of.

There are no problems of which I am aware.  I used to have the NTSC DVD-9 and played it without incident.  There was one problematic DVD-9 floating about at one point:  someone had unwisely unpacked the ISO and changed the layer break position; I cannot remember if that was PAL or NTSC.  Regardless, this version is not one that is currently uploaded in any of the usual places.  You should have no problems, TML.

You can mention the site, but no links to the actual material.

A post of mine was edited for even mentioning the site, without the slightest hint of a posted link, so I'd stay away from even typing the site name outside of a PM.

Haha, ok. Well, I know that even Moth3r has posted site names recently and said that was cool, so...?

I think it might depend on the specific site, but I could be wrong.

I think it has more to do with whether the project is viewed as custom DVD or a fanedit.

For fanedit projects like ANH:R it is fine to mention the site, but not post links - to anything.   For custom DVDs, you can't even mention the name of the site.

The problems were related to burning a disc from the ISO with Nero.  Use IMGBurn or any other burning program and you should be OK.

My outlook on life - we’re all on the Hindenburg anyway…no point fighting over the window seat.

Ok, thanks everyone, but I have one last question. Once all of the .rar files are downloaded, do I manually put them all together to make the .ISO, or does the JDownloader program somehow do that and creates the .ISO? (I'm guessing I'll have to do it manually, but you never know what programs can do now-a-days)

Ok, thanks for your help. I already have ImgBurn, so it looks like I'll have a copy of this pretty soon!
