You guys beat me to it.
Someone here was asleep at their 'report ANH:R sellers' post! :p
Seriously, glad you found the site, irn-bru! I'm sure your case is not unique (unfortunately, as no one should pay for this), though most wouldn't admit it. Your honesty is appreciated. Just be sure to ask yourself in the future in a similar situation 'is this really supposed to be sold?' Heh heh.
Check out fanedit.org for other fan made edits, too. (Revisited is available for free through them as well as many, many others)
Be sure and check out Adywan's progress on The Empire Strikes Back: Revisited too.

Yes, if the seller hasn't been reported already, do so.
I also have to wonder if what you got is the real deal, too. There are several versions, and you may not even have a proper release. Like I mentioned in my last post, you might want to go to fanedit.org and get the [free] copy that all of us enjoy.

I just found this site after buying a copy of S.W.revisited on EBAY, excellent job Adywan looking forward to the next release.
PM me the link to the ebay seller who is selling my edit please. Report this guy and demand a refund from paypal/ebay. I made this edit to be distributed for free and not have some lowlife scum making money from it. I hope that asshole rots in hell.
I'm still waiting on someone to help me out with the full menu dual layer version. I don't have a duel layer burner and will pay the person for their costs. (DVD and shipping)
Have you looked around for dual-layer burners lately? They're pretty cheap, I think.
A top of the line DL burner is about $40.

Hi Adywan!
I loved Star Wars Revisited! I've been lurking for a while, watching the progress on your Empire Strikes Back. It looks great so far! Keep up the good work.
Have a cookie on me!
Sorry to ask this, but can anyone give me hand finding the Purist Edition? All I can find is the original Revisited, and while it is a great watch, I'd also like to see the purist edition.
Thanks for the awesome work, Adywan
Just wanted to let you know I have re-upped Revisited to the usenet since it's been quite a while since it's been up there. The format is for iPod/iPhone 640x272 but can be enjoyed on your computer as well...

Check your PM.
My outlook on life - we’re all on the Hindenburg anyway…no point fighting over the window seat.
Sorry for being a complete noob but can anyone send me the download link please? I have a mac so I'm not sure if I should download any additional plug-ins to play the files. If anyone has a .avi/.mp4/.mov instead of zipped files, please PM me, thanks.
I'm usually able to track down stuff like this, but I just spent all day trying to get the purist edition only to find out part 14 was missing. Now I'm not even sure if the rest of what I downloaded is even legit or not? I checked out the version of this film uploaded on youtube. Even with crappy youtube quality I gotta say I was blown away. I'm torn as to which one I want in my collection as I had some issues with some of the musical changes. If anyone can help me track down the rest of the purist edition that'd be great! Thanks!

I just discovered this site (and the concept of fan edits) just a few days ago, and I have to say I'm really impressed. So I hate to introduce myself by following the trend of requesting the Purist Edition of Revisited, but, well, hey. I found a torrent, but there were no seeds so it stopped at 90%. Anyone help?
Good job Adywan (and everyone else). Can't wait for Empire.
Welcome to the forums, Bread Mustache. Great user name you've got there. You definitely need to spend some time with the rest of us weirdos in off-topic.
Bread Mustache a name so good I should have thought of it myself.
Damn!
Kudos for having an avatar to match too.
Sorry I can't help with your actual request but I hope to hear more from you in the future.
I dig the name too. A good similar one would be Beard Pudding. :p
I'm sorry I also have to ask:
where is there a link to download the ANH revisited?
and where can I expect the ESB:R when it's done?
Look around fanedit dot info.
Guys, and gals, I need a little help with something. Okay, I got a new Toshiba laptop with Windows 7 Premium, which comes with Windows DVD maker and I tried to make myself a DVD copy of Star Wars revisited. Well good news is, I got the entire movie on it. Bad news is that the picture is stretched on the TV screen, worse part is that it didn't have any sound.
Am I doing something wrong? Someone give me some advise, cause I got my new laptop a week ago, and I know how to work only about half the new features.
Why are you using Windows DVD Maker? Revisited is distributed in the form of a DVD image. Any disc burning program such as Nero or ImgBurn should be able to handle it. You just burn the image direct to disc; you don't have to go through authoring or anything, and if you try it'll probably just mess it up or reduce the quality.
If you're trying to turn the xvid version into a DVD, I strongly recommend downloading the DVD-5 or DVD-9 versions and burning them instead. They're the finished versions, they're much higher video quality, and they have menus and scene selection and special features all set up and ready to go out of the box, so to speak.
My new laptop doesn't come with Nero or ImgBurn. I haven't tried RealPlayer yet for DVD burning, but I'm not sure if that will make a difference.
This sort of question should really be posted in the How-To's and Technical Discussions forum.

ImgBurn is freeware. You can download it. What format is the file you're trying to burn?
