Best cheap LD player?

Silly teenager with a whim here. I was wondering if anyone knew good cheap LD players? I heard there are some that can read both sides, and ideally I'd like one of those so the lazy bastard in me doesn't have to get up and flip movies should I actually consider investing in one just for collector's sake. Thank you.

Please be very careful when buying a used player. Demand insurance against damage when being shipped. These players are very easy to damage. I got a few bad ones. Never knew if it was the shipping, or the seller was shipping a bad player to cash in on postal insurance fraud. Also, make the seller make the insurance claim if the player is damaged on arrival, you should demand a full refund.

And yes, there are players that play sides A and B without having to turn the disk over. Pioneer CLD-504 is one of them, and the player I own. In fact this is the second of that model I have owned. It's not high-end, but is a great mid-range player for my huge LD collection. It has S-video and AC-3 outputs. You can find them for under $300 US. 

The best cheap LD player would be an X0 for $50.

Funny, moth3r... :p. If only, right? Perhaps this is beyond ridiculous, but I was hoping I could find something under $30 - I'm not too picky, mid-level is good. Are there decent LD players that are that cheap yet? I'm not even sure I want one, but I figured I should at least consider it.

The players I have, I got for $10 (industrial model), and $40 (a LD/CD combo, with remote) at Goodwill.

But...neither of them is perfect - The $10 one has an 'okay' picture, and the $40 one has a bad-ish picture...but great sound. :)

Oh well...at least they work!

Goodwill? Good idea! (see what I did there herpderp I'm hillarious). I'd bet my local one has one.

...and every time I see a 5-disc CD player at a thrift store, I get my hopes up for a fraction of a second. :(

Now I'm wanting to check mine..even though I don't have any LDs.....
