Ady- With all the hubbub regarding a 3D conversion of Star Wars on the horizon, will this change your plans for your Revisited work?  I see you included the 3D conversion of the Jabba scene on SWR, so I have to assume you have at least a passing interest in 3D...

How hard do you think it will be to go back and reconform your Revisied changes to the 3D release assuming it happens?

I'm just wondering if I'll have to permanently choose between Revisited and 3D...

Anyway, i thought i'd just pop in to say thanks to everyone for their kind words. The funeral isn't until the 9th Feb so i won't be back here full time until after that and even then it will only be now and then probably for a while.

Angel, while the DVD menus do show more detail i'm very surprised that you didn't notice that the perspective of the new gantry is wrong compared with the studio set section and that the shape of the whole end section that they replaced is incorrect too.. The original matte worked so much better and has the correct perspective because it was painted using the actual set as reference.

Indeed Ady, i ve noticed the perspective issues as well.

I was pointing the shadows and highlights behavior from the flashes :)

Back to the topic! :) I always love seeing Ady's posts in part because he points out things that even an army of other nitpickers haven't noticed. Heh.

I say let's leave this to Ady to make update posts and not turn this into a Facebook page anymore than it already has... there is an EMPIRE/JEDI WISHLIST page for random thoughts as well.

It just feels as if Ady doesn't post any progress, people feel that there HAS to be some new posts regardless just to keep the thread moving.

Regardless, keep up the good spirits Ady... while it would be nice to see this within the next 6 to 12 months, I think with the current state of events as well as the releases of blu-rays, movies and the like we'll be busy enough until you're ready to go.
