HELP NEEDED!!! Rendering an MPEG for DVD Architect using SONY VEGAS

I finished my Star Wars: Renascent edit and I needed to render it in an MPEG container that is compatible with DVD Architect. I need it to be in the full DVD resolution and quality. Can someone please tell me the preferences I need?

If I'm working at 23.976fps, should I convert that to 29fps using the DVD Architect MPEG-II template to just avoid pull-down all together for the final render?

Video has to be 29.97fps to comply with the DVD-video spec.

Converting 23.976 to 29.97 is not recommended, using pulldown instead is much more efficient.

Sony Vegas won't let me render to MPEG-II at 23.976 fps... does Vegas just prepare the Pulldown for DVD Architect or does it actually render the video as 29.7 fps? From my understanding 23.976fps+Pulldown=29.7fps ragardless, so does it make a difference?

Well, if your source is 23.976 fps (I hope it is) then it sounds like this is what's happening.

I've never used Vegas, but in CCE if you check the box under MPEG-2 "for DVD" then it automatically puts the pulldown in for you to ensure DVD compliance.
