I have recently released all 3 of these in 1080p

in DVD9 format as well as BD25.

The source was from the recent Japanese 1080i WOWOW broadcasts.   English audio and english, dutch and danish subtitles were added.

The quality is very good IMO

you can find them at ps3avchd.net you will need to register and reply in order to get the NZB, but the quality is very good and will do until the official BDs are released

Does Raiders have the bad added cgi, if so not interested.

Is there any place to get the 1080 Braodcast for those of us that do our own encoding?

also what encoder did you use for the BD25 versions?

Thanks

ps. I just signed up but only saw the "Raiders" BD25,did not see the other 2.
The site does look pretty interesting,a lot of what I would be interested in,but why are some links still hidden, what needs to be done for that?

I noticed you signed up, and I bet you will love our site.   The links are hidden until you respond to the thread, a nice 'thank you' will do.

As far as the encodes, I used DGindex, MeGUI, and Ripbot

I can easily provide the original .ts files and synced audio files if you want.

The shot where the Nazi car flies off the cliff.  Somewhere around here, there's a comparison image of the theatrical/DVD version and the new version.  I believe it was taken from a SciFi channel broadcast, and it was assumed that (given Lucasfilm's track record) this would be the "definitive" version from now on.

An earlier shot would make it easier to tell, ie just a tiny bit sooner after fall off. I can't tell as it is, but my only comparison is youtube so...

Ugh.  Wait.  This is all through newsgroups?!?  No thanks.  *sigh*

Excited for nothing. :( :(

I get unlimited DL for $11 a month through astraweb.

Sorry you feel so bad about the newsgroups, but there is no way I am putting these on a torrent.   It took long enough to upload the 60gb to the newsgroups, I couldn't imagine trying to seed that much lol.

I know what you mean,I will NOT torrent anymore either, these HD files we do now are just to damn big to have hit run torrent people take advantage of that and NOT seed back, then the original uploader is left seeding WAY more than he should have to.

Found a comparison of the 1981 matte from the DVD (which was cleaned up anyway to remove the blue-screen halo around the car), and the new CG one:

I can't really tell from the posted screenshots which one is in this file.  It looks like the original, though.

I will grab the HD 1080i HD files for all 3 movies this week along with your BD25's and see how they compare,if I am happy with your encodes than I won't have to make my own,but I really, really like CineVision's encoder,we will see, either way I am grabbing all,oh and even your audio files, now that will save me some time LOL.

rock may do rapidshare but I won't do that either, because I would be very friggin pissed off if I uploaded ALL them GB's and if they found out about it and deleted the files, which RS said they are doing now and reporting people, screw them to(my opinion only).

rock's version is already done and available,so you do not like the HD version,so which version is the right one,the DVD?and if so,you think an upconvert would look good?the reason I ask is,I may be doing my own version as well.

Well, I looked again, and the OP's copy is definitely the original version, not the CGI replacement.  So if your version has the CGI replacement, but the rest is better quality, just swap that shot out with the one on rockps3avchd's version.

Well I won't need to take anything from his version if I decide to do my own,I will be using the same HD 1080i source,I was just saying if this scene is on the DVD or not,but it sounds like the HD source is the version you like so all is good.

Yep.  Rock's version is definitely the original.

Indeed it is after checking again once I knew what to look for.   I just had never seen that added CGI scene before.

As far as rapidshare, I would have to say no because it sucks and I have already uploaded these.  60+gb whick took me almost a week to upload with my speed.   I am not being rude here, but if you can't shell out a few bucks for a news service, then I am afraid you may not get these.
