That's why Ady announced who the winners were - so that if something does leak, everyone will know who it was.
My outlook on life - we’re all on the Hindenburg anyway…no point fighting over the window seat.

Congrats to the winners!
Hope you take your time going through the workprint, Ganamae. You sure are lucky, eventhough it's a great responsibility.
And congratulations to you as well BingoWings! Eventhough you probably won't get a tiara...
Check your PM's Bingowings. Your prize has been delivered. lol
Damn...missed my chance.
(that won't stop me donating again, before anyone snaps :P)
I say you should let Vaderios see the work print too!
His input could be very helpful thanks to his artistic skills and photoshop knowledge.
That is, if he would have time or want that responsibility of course.

^^ That sounds like a good idea. Makes sense too.
Of course the final decision would be up to AdY for that.
Congratz to the winners!

Oh whoah! o.0
I was just dropping in as usual to see for any new updates and mock ups....and this is what hits me heh I WON!
it was unexpected..because I usually do not win anything.
Star wars have always been a great passion of mine, since I was placed in front of the tv as a child to watch something I did not understand..but I knew it was interesting....though the Gorax in the Ewok adventures and the Rancor in Jedi did scare me at that time..well the Gorax still do..for some reason :p
Rest assured, I will tighten grip around this and let nothing slip through my fingers :D
I will keep in line with what Adywan orders me to do and behave on the matter of the Empire work copy.
Congrats Bingowings !!! :D
and thanks fellow forum dwellers ^_^ this made me a happy Norwegian !
Oh btw ADYWAN ! your PM box has maxed out !
Can I sell it to Lucas arts if they offer me a few millions for a sneak peak? :p lol
Star wars: Revisited. is now on facebook :)

Well done to you both.
Ganamae, that's especially one hell of a great 'extra' to tide you over until the eventual final release next year! Nice one.
Now I know whose mail boxes to check. :)
Congrats to both.
now why doesnt lucas do that? (release a workprint) oh wait because he knows "best"

I think that's a good idea as well. His mockups have always been inspiring.
Granted, a few members here such as Vaderios can offer their expertise on the film visually, but I can't see Ady going back on his word that only one lucky donator gets a copy, and I respect him for that.
I think it's only grudgingly he offered it up in the first place, and it seems it was first and foremost as an incentive for further donations. Not for wanting feedback. If I were Ady, I'd be exactly the same. I wouldn't want to put out more work in progress versions than necessary. I'd want it to be finished before letting people see it.
Congrats to the winners. :)

Hehe. I'm excited to hear your reaction. Not that you're going to divulge anything that you shouldn't or post screenies or something. I'm just awaiting you coming on the boards and saying HOLY SHIT, IT'S INCREDIBLE!!!11 :)
oh_riginal said:Okay, I've done a new mock-up of this scene. The difference being that instead of saying that Han predicted the cave entrance, instead he is, as everyone here has suggested, first saw the canyon and thought it may be a potential place to hide, but then sees the cave and realizes it is even better than he first assumed.
Half of a character's line had to be sacrificed for it to work, but I don't miss it, honestly. Now, here goes:
I think that looks pretty good! :)

Looks pretty good from this chair too.
Here's something I've always wondered about the end of ESB.
In some books, at least those published after the SEs, there's this alternative shot of Luke, Leia, R2 and 3PO looking out from the medical frigate:
I've always wondered where it came from and why its so often used instead of the shot from the actual movie.
I actually like the concept of a nebula more than the fake-looking galaxy that's in the movie. I realize that Adywan's not going to do it, but perhaps some other film editor will try the concept. :)

I made a new galaxy mockup some (p)ages ago. Ady said he will keep the original galaxy as well.

I got to go look for it then! Any idea when you posted it?
It is a coincidence, I've been using the alias Angel Blue01 since 2000. :)
