Yeah, the commentary there was a refreshing change from the kinds of things we hear there. In the first film, they talked about how they'd been approached about removing the wires visible on Doc Brown in one shot, but they also shot that down. They even went so far as to remove the VHS-added "To Be Continued..." ending of the first film in order to get it back to its theatrical release and even kept in the trailer for Part III. Granted, I wish they had kept in the tag of "Coming Summer 1990," as, again, it's a product of its time, but that's my only complaint about that set.
So, Chainsaw. I haven't been keeping up with the new BTTF releases. Why is the new set better than the old one? I mean, I know it has new bonus features, correct? But are the transfers of the actual films better? And would this be due to the extras being on separate discs rather than being crammed into a single disc? I always wondered how they managed to pull off putting so much content onto a single disc.
