Does anyone know what this error means and how to prevent this?

OK since no one had any ideas on this here I checked at Doom9 and it appears this warning I can just ignore,so all is good now.
I've never seen that error before. Mind you, it looks like you are using true VirtualDub instead of VirtualDubMod... which I would recommend.
Dr. M
you would use VDubMod over regular VDub? why is that?
I don't know why anyone would recommend VirtualDubMod - it's extremely old and outdated.
DJ, do you get that error when opening an AviSynth script? Does it occur if you load the AVI directly? What about if you strip everything down from the script except for the AviSource() line?

Only when using the script, and the Phaeron at VDub.org said this warning should NOT be ignored,so this project can't get finished until I figure out what the heck is causing this,I never get warnings or errors with VDub and avisynth, this is the first time.
Oh and I was told the same thing,do not use VDubmod because of the same reasons you mentioned,so no switching here.
My guess is that it's one of the AviSynth plugins. You could try moving all dll files out of your plugins folder, then putting them back in one by one until you identify which one is causing the problem.

I will give that a shot M.
Well it is starting to look more and more like an a avi file problem,I ran an MPEG file through the script and NO errors,so WHY would this avi file be so different?
This might seem strange but it appears to be a Lagarith problem, when I save my avi in the default VDub settings NO error, and when I use Huffyuv, again no error,so now I am really confused,I would like to use Lagarith but maybe I will not be able to in this instance.
OK it looks like this is resolved,Moth3r if you want you can delete this thread, noone was even looking at it but you anyways LOL.
thanks for your help as always,I really appreciate it.
