Wow! Thanks guys for the great feedback! I'll see if I can address this stuff:

Mace looks great in his pilot's chair (sure it takes some surprise out of his turning up in time but we know he is on his way already anyway).
Perhaps it would work better if we saw the Jedi entering the system before the Arena battle began leaving the lead up free to follow with the anticipation building up in the background (keeping the audience thinking "Mace where are you?").
Yes, we do know he is on his way in the original edit. My thoughts on that would be to cut that sentence out entirely from the movie. That way right before the monsters attack our heros we have this WTF moment with the Jedi entering the system. We then have this hope of them getting there in time to save them. At least that is what I was originally thinking. I also would have liked to show a shot or two of the Jedi landing near the stadium and going in...

Agreed. I think that after 3PO get's his head knocked off we should not see him again until R2 his putting him back together.
I wouldn't even have that.
Either I'd remove Threepio altogether or I'd have him fall into the bowels of the droid factory and when R2 rescues him they find a means of alerting the Jedi to their position.
Wow. That's kind of cool idea...the droids being useful again! :D

Kind of missing the Jengo fight but it never made sense (like Boba, I never understood why a bounty hunter would act as a body guard. his role in life is to find people for money).
Agreed. Plus the whole Mace/Jango fight never made sense in any way. First, it should've been Obi-wan finishing him off. Second, Mace killing Jango with Dooku's reaction is editted so oddly that I remember thinking the first time I saw it, "There's some sort of subtext I'm missing here. There must be something here that will be addressed in the next movie." I thought Mace might turn to the darkside. I thought he might've teamed up with Dooku...I didn't know...but it seemed to have that sort of vibe.

It would be very difficult to do but it would be a much more dramatic entrance to have the Jedi land in the arena shoot up the intial threat of the destroyer droids on the way down and jump out of their fighters (like Anakin and Obi-Wan do in ROTS).
Also I cool idea...but I know *I* don't have a way to pull that off! ;)

I liked this edit. It did feel a bit odd with no dialogue for so long somehow.
Ah yes! The same problem I ran into with the droid factory scene. Don't know what I can do...I certainly won't be adding the Mace/Dooku lines back in! ;)

I also mentioned the following: "I'm hoping someone ... can do something about the HORRIBLE warbling monster effects. Makes me want to punch my monitor. Even just stretch out the first sound and maybe raise and lower the pitch ever so slightly for natural intonation? I don't know how that would sound."
I know, the same old complaint... :p Maybe I'm just trying to find someone who agrees with me.
I went looking for something to replace it a while ago. I just couldn't find anything. I didn't want to use any sounds from Jurassic Park. I can *always* pick those dino sounds out of any movie or tv show when they are used. ;)

how about with yoda he's there but in his [own] meditation chamber shrouded in shadows?
"pay no attention to the green frog thing behind the curtain!"
You mean at the arena? Why would Yoda have his own meditation chamber there? huh?

Overall I really liked it. For the first time I actually felt something in my heart when Padmé confesses her love to Anakin!
That's a huge compliment! Thank you! :D

I was okay with the changes made to the Jedi's arrival up until the actual battle began. The transition into the battle feels clumsy, like it didn't deliver on all the anticipation that was building in me as I knew the Jedi were closing in. In order for those changes to feel natural there needs to be a better segue into the Jedi reveal at the coliseum.
I think I understand what you're saying. It sucks editing this way with no one there to see what you're doing and what you're up against with the footage available. I don't disagree with you. I'm just not sure what I can do...? Any ideas?

Can we get a smirk out of Nute Gunray? He's pleased by Padmés dilemma, but if it weren't for the chuckle I don't think we'd have any clue.
Agreed. Sadly I don't have Adywan's magical powers! ;)

Can there be a little bit of dialogue distributed throughout the battle with the droids, just to break up the action? Assuming there is any acceptable dialogue to draw from.
Also, can something be done about strange Jedi girl at 6:21 who doesn't look like she "really" swinging at anything?
Dialogue? From the battle droids? Really? ;)
Seriously, I know what you mean. Yes some dialouge from anyone would be great. Ideas?
And yes the Jedi girl at 6:21 is absolutely terrible. I just used it becuase I didn't want to loose more Jedi footage. You might notice I did cut her terrible "Haaa!" noise! :D

Nice edit, SSWR!
I liked how you tighterend up the battle between the Jedi and the droids. That, and the removal of the 3PI "comedy" makes the scene a lot more intense.
Thanks!

The scene where Obi-Wan, Anakin and Padme fight the monsters wasn't editted as good, in my opinion. You moved a lot of stuff around, and kept intercutting, making the scene feel longer than it is, and a little sluggish. There are some good finds in it though, and I liked how you tried to tighten it up. Overall, nice job!
Hmmm...I'm not sure I agree...-Well, I'll say this: The only reason I restructured any of those shots was so I could get Padme off the pillar like a human. I never really had a problem with the monster battle as far as editing goes...at least no substantial problems. But I do appreciate your opinion! Would you happen to have any suggestions for that scene?

On the subject of sound effects, the feature Soundboards on StarWars.com has a lot of sound effects and dialogue samples without background sound or music. I don't know if he quality of the sounds is good enough for the fanedits going around here, and there aren't a lot of soundbites from the PT (yet), but they may be useful. You can find them here: http://starwars.com/games/playnow/soundboards/#
I would love to have these sounds! Has anyone found a way to download or record them yet?
