I have a nice t-shirt with that print on....Yes, I am a cool dude...so f**k you all!!!!
A-man, how about whipping up some alternate versions of ESB and ROTJ in purple and maroon? Then with SW already in blue, they'll match the "Faces" colors. (I think that's right - SW blue, ESB purple, ROTJ maroon)
My outlook on life - we’re all on the Hindenburg anyway…no point fighting over the window seat.

Still working on Episode VI. Haven't even started on I, II and III
Seeing as the colours match the sabres used by the featured characters you could do disc labels based on the sabre artwork from the Executor Tin Set.
You mean these?!?!

I'd prefer "An Adywan Extravabonanza" myself. I love that word.

I will probably use these sweet babies. They look amazing and I am glad you used green for ROTJ. Jedi always felt like the green film to me. (Maybe because of lukes saber LOL) All of these covers everyone is making look better than the crappy dvd covers lucas gave us. He could have atleast used Drew Struzans posters seeing as he made posters for the whole saga
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

These covers are beautiful. Very nice work. Only thing is, where are they going to go, colour-wise when you reach the PT, seeing as these are all based on prominent saber colours?
Also, I recall you saying in another thread that you use the same barcode for all your projects. It might be overkill, but have you considered creating a barcode yourself for it (there are generators around the place) so that, when scanned, it would display the name of the edit?
I'm sure the geekiest amongst us would appreciate that :P
Edit: Also, could you PM me with download links of any that you've finished? I've grabbed the New Hope one from another thread (I'm assuming it's the finished version), but can't seem to find the ESB one.
yes, I would love to get these covers when your done too. I can add them the the fanedit.org page for people to download.
Is trowing copper a saying or is that your favorite +LIVE+ album? I am not being a jerk I am just curious.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys! I still have to do the side and back for 6, then do 1-3. Then go back through all six and make the final touches. I just finished class but I'm going to Ottawa this weekend, so just bare with me for a bit.
The final version will probably have custom barcodes.
TPM - Yellow (To reflect Tatooine) Maul's Face and Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan Vs Maul
AOTC - Purple (To reflect Windu's lightsaber) Yoda's Face and Yoda Vs Dooku
ROTS - Orange (To reflect Mustafar) Anakin's face and Anakin Vs Obi-Wan
Also for side pictures it will go as followed:
I - Anakin
II - Obi-Wan
III - Sidious
IV - Luke
V - Yoda
VI - Vader
Star Wars Renascent
Inspired by the Godfather Part II and a revamp of Star Wars: Reborn
I think Ady is cutting the Yoda dooku fight....? I'm not sure though. Maybe it would be safer to just go with the Dooku/Anakin/Obi-Wan fight.
I'd hate for you to make a great cover and it not fit with the edit =/.
Also I'm pretty sure he'll be making Mace's lightsaber blue. I could be wrong though.
Ok I can leave purple for the cannons and all the new laser blasts and engine glows that are purple in the PT. But regarding the fight I'll do two versions.

I think Purple is fine for the cover.
But if you put Mace on the back, I would say make his saber Blue.

Yeah that artwork would also make for great disc label art for that set (makes me long for a DVD player with a transparent lid so I could see those babies spinning around).

**facepalm** yes its a +Live+ reference. Though I think Secret Samadhi was better. It was all downhill from there. Its a lame net name I've had since the mid 90's.
Don't worry, mate. We still luv ya.
And I used to be JediSluggo, so you don't have to worry about lame net names. It happens to the best of us.

It's a shame in regards to your covers, as this would have been the obvious colour to choose. I can see Ady removing the purple lasers too.

LOL. Live doesnt have the fire they used to have. I loved throwing copper and the demos from it. Secret Samadhi was a great album too. Throwing Copper is what got me started lol
