We did see a model shot of TIE's very close to the outside of the Emperor's tower, so there shouldn't be a reason (other than they being very busy elsewhere at the time) for us not to be able to see them doing a fly by from his window (if that's what you mean).

 

Yeah something like that would work

but as ady has already stated in the ANH:R tread in regards the stormtooper asking about the droids and that (SE) Droid is flying by in the background it is distracting & he nixed it (personally I wanted me but thats just semantics)

the shots wouldn't work if the viewer sudenly goes "OH cool look at that thing outside the window" as Luke is getting fried by Palps

But in this particular shot you fixed there is no visible fix. You pointed that you put a pylon there and it looks the same as before.

I have an Idea for the fan edit. When Luke returns to tattooine and like you all say goes to obi wans hut. this could be done in the after noon. Have luke sitting outside before obi wan shows up with his back to the suns of tattooine in contrast to ANH were he looks to them. It will be more dramatic.\

I like it! I d love to see it without the two musics at the same time.

As i said before, ROTJ march was a bit off.

Putting aside how weird [your YouTube video] sounds, the main problem is that the [PT] music doesn't sound 'right' for that scene/moment.

Well Like Bingo said, with all these efforts lame or not can be hidden some very good ideas.

I like the fact that he change the music, but i dont expect to see a scoreless saga..

Here's exactly how you will try to pass this off,1. You'll delete the L,R, LS, RS channels 2.) You'll then crank up your new music over the center and HOPE no one notices  the music thats trapped in center (which they will).

Thats it, really why don't you do yourself a favor and take one audio/visual class at the local community college and learn what is and is not possible with a ripped DVD 5.1 mix? Oh I know, that would require effort... I'm sure the excuse will be... "Hey  I was rushed" which I dont get cause really, who here is asking for any of this work? It doesn't have to be rushed, just good, or even at the least show SOME sign of improvement after people like Adywan even take the time to critique (which btw, smooth move using his clips and not giving credit).

The only way you pull this off is to rebuild ALL of the sfx and dialouge, which is IMPOSSIBLE. You dont have a full unaltered/clean center channel. Heck even the subwoofer/bass channel will have beats from the orig socre, how do you remove that? Well, you delete it entirely and hope noone asks for a new 5.1 mix. Thats why all your clips are in stereo only and they mostly comprise of already silent scenes. Like the C3PO scene and the end credits. Really take some pride in your work, why dont you just improve on your editing, take some actual classes to boot, invest in your "skillz"cause those Luke VS Vader scenes... WOW... pretty bad.

All this talk about adding/replacing music in duels reminds me... A while back I took a crack at enhancing my favorite duels with new music.

I think it really adds to the emotional impact.
