This was rendered at 720, but I'm sure Ady would want the final version rendering at a higher quality than that !!

Ok, if we can combine Angel's panorama with Serji's landscape to make a 3-D field for the battle to take place, we can elimate all continuity errors!  I HATE CONTINUITY ERRORS!

Looks really cool! Only thing that comes to mind is that the mountains in the background are moving too fast. In the original shot it's the ground moving, not both. If the mountains move, they appear smaller and closer.

This is still just a test shot to show that it's possible to use CG for this shot, I'd assume if Ady wants to progress down this route then he'd supply or have more specific ideas about the bckground mountain range etc...

That's true. I noticed in a commercial for some new CG movie that one reviewer said it's the 'best movie ever.' Oh really. What is he, five? Maybe he said 'This is the best movie ever...in Bizarro World.' ;)

I say just look for anything snow related with Imax blu-ray releases or even some of those blu-ray "moving scfeen saver" type discs (usually involving Hawaii, fireplaces, aquariums or the like).

Also, if you decide to purchase these directly Ady, you coudl always email the sellers on Amazon.com to see if they will ship to the UK (since it looks like the prices on amazon.com are cheaper than those on amazon.co.uk)

I just got a new job, after being unemployed since I finished by masters degree a year ago. The new job should give me some extra funds on my hands, so that I can finally donate to the project. Sadly, I have to wait until the first paycheck arives, as my current financial situation doesent allow any extra expences.

Damm, this almost sounds like a whining child, but had to get it of my chest. Just so excited about finally having found a job.

Well its looking FANTASTIC! I think you should hook up with Angel too to co-ordinate some of those HD Mattes or display grafix, this project gets better and better.. ;)
