Adywan, I will paypal you some money, because I have been planning on contributing to your project for awhile. I'm not bribing you to put my name back in the credits, but I hope you reconsider.

Something else too: shouldn't we see more than 2 AT-ATs here? Whether the other 3 would be on the left or one of the AT-ATs would be close to Luke (say we see the body on the left side of the image as Luke is passing it up to head at the back 2 AT-ATs behind Veer's main 3) we should see more of them, as they weren't that spread out.

^ Right! I was meant to explain that ady can add them because he knows where they are.
I dont give so much attention :P

I hope always with some more modern panels for the snow speeders.
Maybe you could just replace the mountains and/or the AT-ATs, since those would be relatively more stationary than the ground itself. Even if you didn't "replace" the AT-ATs with new model shots (or from different scenes) could the images of the AT-ATs themselves be worked a bit to appear less faded?
vaderios said:Speaking of destruction, im wondering if a little brainstorm about what destruction the bombers can do.
See it as a test.
I always wanted to see something like when the asteroid hits paris in armagedon here. Not something apocalyptic just the style.
From the other hand we can have some broken stones/debris combined with some molten ones in an electrified explosion.
-Angel
now this is something that i did think long and hard about and i think they got it right just as it is. I don't see the bombs as being destructive at all. Why, if they want to capture the falcon, would they use destructive weapons that would possibly cause all sorts of internal damage to the inside of the asteroid and possibly destroy the falcon in the process. I believe that they are just very low yield bombs, maybe just flash bombs, that are only meant to draw the falcon out. more of an audible attack.
At the same time, America didn't exactly use light bombs to flush out the VC... if the Falcon is hiding deep inside an asteroid even a tenth the size of the moon, low yeild bombs aren't going to do much of anything if you're trying to draw someone out of there hiding place. It's like trying to flush someone out of a house; you start a big fire on the opposite end you want to catch them coming out of, while you wait on the non-fire end. The TIE bombers would be dropping heavy bombs to crack the asteroid open from the opposite side the Falcon was last seen on, which would be powerful enough for the Falcon to feel and provide the proper motivation. These are still bombs, not the Death Star, so it's not like they're going to get a lucky shot ala STAR TREK 3 and blow the asteroid up with one bomb.
Besides, it would be nice to see the bombs actually explode like bombs.

Weirdly because it sounds like a bribe...
Anyways thanks for the incoming donation..

The timing is suspicious, and it's clear that wanting his name there is one reason he's doing it, but at least he's finally making a positive contribution. I'd like to think my comment about not deserving credit if you don't do anything to help put him over. It's not so much a bribe as an attempt to deserve it.
There is still good in him....
That comparison of the two snowspeeder cockpits up there is very nice, vaderios! The difference between the AT-ATs is amazing. They look sort of 'ghostly' in the original version. The simple, undistracting new displays look good too.
I've had this idea for a long time and you guys probably won't like it, but I will suggest it anyway.
To fix the issue of some of the sets of cloud city looking like they belong to the empire, lets actually have it be part of the empire!
The carbon freezing chamber looks like something the empire would have. Lets have the carbon freezing chamber aboard the Executioner instead of cloud city.
We'll just made a scene where we see the Executioner parked outside of cloud city. They aboard the ship and they have their little party there instead. We'll have to change some dialog around to make this work. The carbon freezing chamber is no longer experimental to humans (what the heck do they use that for anyways?), the empire uses it to torture people.
thats kind of a good idea except they dont use it for humans, they are for freezing tibbana (sp?) for distribution

Janskeet please just stop. You're NOT FUNNY.
I love everybody. Lets all smoke some reefer and chill. Hug and kisses for everybody.
Not sure if it will work.. then it creates endless plotholes.
Why carbon would be inside the executor? I mean i like the idea from one point but did you think the scenes we have to cut?
Help me Hotrod you are my only hope.
-Angel
I've never said this to anyone on this thread before, but it has to be said now.
That is a HORRIBLE idea.
WHY would the chamber be on the Executor? There's no point!
And maybe Han could shoot green lazors out of his ass.
The person your searching for simply does not exist
Ady has outright stated he is making no plot changes to ESB:R and the only dialogue/pacing changes are to revert to the original version of a few scenes. Put it on the Wishlist thread, Janskeet.
Or better yet, don't. I think it's a dumb idea and "fixes" something that nobody else seems to think is a problem.
Is that supposed to be funny?

oh god whats happening to this forum tonight?:p has TFN launched some form of sleeper comedy spamming system that is beginning to present itself?:S
Janskeet, I think you've just lost all chances of Ady not hitting the ignore button.

well at least he posted images. i dont think we should discredit people from trying with illustrations at least.

I think he meant contribute positively, not unnecessarily.
Seriously, Janskeet, you thought that was a good idea? I won't be surprised if Ady will be hitting a certain button soon.

Is called Summer, Sex Drugs and Rock n Roll
Peace brothers.

Even if it wasn't the most brilliant idea, it was an effort. Give him at least that much credit.
I can understand making a suggestion to things that need work. BUT the carbon freezing chamber is in cloud city. It would be retarded to be walking through the city corridors of CLOUD CITY to the executioner. LOL it just doesnt work that way.
