It matches the rest of the death star to. I think that they are kind of stupid keeping him in a high rise tower. It wouldnt take much to take that thing down.

My mockup a few pages back was a bit Vernesque maybe I should add some candle sconces and a pipe organ ;-)

Of the two, I think I preferred Bingowings Jules Verne-ish, almost steampunk style. That was pretty gorgeous.

u know, a really cool ending, however it isn't the best ending, would be vader and luke teaming up in a duel against palps. kinda like in lego star wars. i know, bad example.

What would have been cool, while at the same time avoiding the question of why Palpatine has a bottomless pit in his office, would be if Vader had picked up Luke's green saber and used it to cut down the Emperor, coming at him through a barrage of lightning through the sheer will to redeem himself and save Luke.

Not much different from the movie, but it would have been more impressive a feat than just tossing Palps over the rail.

Hey Adywan just wonderin, maybe we could increase the number of Ewoks in the ROTJ end battle, was sitting around my fiancee's house the other day and watchin tv program with her father. It was about the evolution of weapons, from like rifles to the Colt revolvers to the machine guns and AK47s. One section really got me thinkin about ROTJ, though British soldiers had guns and cannons they lost their batlle agaisnt the Zulu's that carried spears and arrows. This was achieved by the sheer numbers, so Ewoks, thousands of them lmao

Then the ewoks could wipe them out...all of them.

how about either in the final battle, in the space battle, OR on endor we should have boba fett,
maybe in the battle between vader and luke or in the space battle, OR a "final battle" between Fett and Han on endor

I'm not so sure about that. We've discussed having him leave Tatooine before the Battle of Carkoon and/or having him deliever the trap/plans to the Rebels. I'm more for cutting him out completely and totally.

I would just like to see Boba flying off in the slave one before luke shows up with all of his money. Boba is a BOUNTY hunter. He wants his BOUNTY not to sit around like jabbas bitch. He is a LONER. Being at Jabbas palace is so stupid he doesnt need to be there. Shit he was paid the Empire's substantial reward and Jabba's bounty he is off somewhere spending his cash. Probably shopping at a local bounty mart buying new gadgets.

Imagine him with a shopping cart LOL.

I've been reading this thread and I'm amazed at all the great ideas that are in it!

Anyhoo I've always wondered what Vader is thinking when the Emperor is engulfing Luke with the Force lightening, theres obviousley something going on in his mind and something that triggers his destiny to do away with Palpatine, soooo how about inserting some flashback dialogue ie

Queen Amidala: You're a slave?
Anakin: I'm a person and my name is Anakin

And at that point Vader turns on Palpatine.

Just an idea..

Hello there mouse nice to have you onboard, for various reasons many of us here are anti-flashback, flashforward but there was a line that was originally in the ROTJ duel that was removed or not recorded but may be reconstructed.

Luke at some point said, "I will not become a slave to the Dark Side".

If this could be put back in it would underline how Vader was born a slave and has remained a slave all his life without the need for a flashback.
