Hi, I have captured some VHS tapes on to my computer that were previously transferred from old 8mm films. I don't have the original films. As you might surmise, the quality is quite crappy. It has all the defects of VHS and all the defects of 88m film on top of each other. Here is a sample screenshot:

I was wondering if anyone with a little avisynth knowledge could point me in the right direction as far as making this look a bit better. If there's anything I can do, let me know.

Cut a small sample of your raw capture file and upload it to somewhere like rapidshare, sendspace, mediafire, etc.

Then post a message in the AviSynth section of the Doom9 forum asking for help with a script to improve your source.
