HD to DVD

I have a Canon HG-10 HD Camcorder and I am trying to figure out how to get my home movies onto a regular (not HD DVD) disk. Can anyone help because I am having a hard time with the owners manual. It doesn't seem to have what I need to complete this task. Thanks a lot. Mika

What format does it record in? AVCHD or HDV?

It records in AVCHD.

I suggest using AviSynth with the DGAVCDec plugin to frameserve the video into an MPEG-2 encoder.
