Does anyone have a high res version of this poster?
Well, there are many different posters and logos, is there something specific you're looking for?
I've updated my poster scan/photo collection, feel free to look there, also put up a few eps logos.
My SW posters (83mb)
SW .eps logos (2mb)
Supplement with ocp's posterbook scans.
..
These Russian posters have to be some of the weirdest ones I've seen (and yes they're for Star Wars...):
The Monkey King - Uproar In heaven (1965) Restoration/Preservation Project
Nezha Conquers the Dragon King (1979) BBC 1.66:1 & Theatrical 2.35:1 preservations
Wow, those are incredibly weird. Who would think those look anything like Star Wars movie posters?? :)
The Star Wars trilogy. There can be only one.
Does anyone have a high res version of this poster?
anyone know where i could get a larger version of this?
There are a few in the archive I posted above (just put it back up, it had gone AWOL).
There's one that's 1438x2269, don't know if that's big enough.

Does anybody have this picture? http://www.mobygames.com/images/shots/original/1059667760-00.jpg
You know... except from a better source than a SNES game?
The image isn't showing up.
Copy & paste the link to your address bar, then add a ? at the end.
My outlook on life - we’re all on the Hindenburg anyway…no point fighting over the window seat.

I am using Chrome and I just clicked it and it came up quickly.
I desperately need a no-logo/no-text version of this poster:
I need one that has the logo off of Leia, not just airbushed out. I know it exists, I used to have it.
If anyone could help me out, that would be absolutely fantastic.

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Needs a more "western" font.

In the film The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, the Ugly one isn't really evil but just mercenary and not classically attractive, so I'd replace Palpatine with Jabba (to avoid it being The Good, The Bad And The Ugly Bad).
Is it just me or does Vader look like he's had too many Easter Eggs in that photo?
Hi-Res of these please:
Star Wars Renascent
Inspired by the Godfather Part II and a revamp of Star Wars: Reborn
oooh, me to on the SOTDS if anyone has them, the original artwork would be cool aswell if possible?:)
Yeah but to me palpatine is ugly. I know Duco was kinda good. It should have been the good, the bad, and the bittersweet LOL. I mean you hate Duco most of the film but then at the end when he is hanging their standing on the wooden cross the whole time I just go come on clint shoot him down (good thing he did)

does anyone have access to scans of the epII art book?:)
I had never seen the ESB style A variant with Lando, Boba & Cloud City and I wanted to try expanding it.
(see below)
The Monkey King - Uproar In heaven (1965) Restoration/Preservation Project
Nezha Conquers the Dragon King (1979) BBC 1.66:1 & Theatrical 2.35:1 preservations
Its the best Ive seen online. I wish someone had a true hi res image. It looks good though. Star Wars poster should be all over the net in hi res but for some reason they arent. And if they are they have a crease in the middle.

I wanted to post in this thread some of the retouched posters I've worked on (some were in the dvd covers thread).
ANH Style A expanded/textless
ESB Style A variant expanded (where is this variant from??)
ESB Style C textless
ROTJ Style B three variants textless
I can't say they're 100% perfect, but it's some of the best you'll find for these versions.
Or you can do your own. :)

Beautiful Work. The Empire Strikes Back A varient style is the best I have seen. I had to tweak the C style myself when I made my Empire Strikes Back DVD cover.
