Congrats JD! Our 2nd (a little girl) is 3 yrs. old now and has become quite the terrorstorm.
Still love her to pieces though
Hopefully yours brings you nothing but cheer. Good luck with sleep in the next few months. LOL

Seriously though, my thoughts & prayers are with you with your expanded family and your upcoming(?) move.

Wow, I can't believe I haven't heard of this before. I was just watching some of the "Deleted Magic" DVD and googled to see if there was something similar done with any of the other Star Wars movies and found this (I'm still can't quite tell if it's quite the same thing as Deleted Magic was, but I don't care - it looks great anyway).

So would any of you kind souls be willing to help out a fellow Star Wars geek with an NTSC copy of either Building Empire or Return to Jedi?

Thanks mate.

I will try to get them out this week. My wife's due date was yesterday and on the very same day we were told we have to move out of our rented accommodation. So bear with me.

I do hope this is not an excuse for the delay in your Star Wars project :(

...

Only joking JD, congrats on the little one and good luck on the house hunt :)

Now thats a project you have been workin on that you kept under wraps with us here! Congratuals Jambe. Though, you may feel like you have taken on the biggest challenge to date in the coming months (or at least it feels that way)!
What you named her? Guess its needless to say then she'll be brought up on the love of Star Wars?

Thanks guys. She's our second so this is going to be 'fun'.

Congrats man.

'Fun' yep that it is, especially when your other child keeps bopping her on the head, or tries to jump all over her, or won't let her play with any of his/her toys.

Yep, fun it is man, fun it is.....Oh and the lack of sleep when the 3 year old decides to wake up at 5.30 EVERY morning...even our baby (who's 8 months now) is getting fed up with her big brother waking her up!!

But I wouldn't change it for anything!

Good luck man!

So, who's gonna be the kind soul and send me a copy of BE in the UK. Of course I'll PIF or whatever.......I thank you very much

I think events overtook JD before he had a chance to send any copies of the new version out, but if you pm me your details I'll put you on my list for when it does make its way to me...

I'd love to get a copy of this. PIF? Trade? Let me know. I'm throwing an Alternate Trilogy marathon on the 26th, and was going to show this between Adywan's Revisited and Spence's Jedi. I just found out there is an updated version that I don't have...

Thanks,
-T

This was an amazing project. I saw mention that there was NTSC version of "Building Empire" released to torrents, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Any suggestions or nudges in the right direction? Thanks. Again, I had watched the PAL version on my computer and just that this was brillant!

I've been trying to find this for weeks; every torrent I find is dead.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?  I'd also like Returning to Jedi.  There's got to be a living torrent out there somewhere, right?

Watch DarthEvil's Who Framed Darth Vader? video on YouTube!

You can also access the entire Horriffic Violence Theater Series from my Channel Page.

You can find RapidShare downloads @ Fanedit.org:

Building Empire -> http://fanedit.org/149/

Returning to Jedi -> http://fanedit.org/148/

I also believe that there are still torrents available on the torrent tracker Myspleen (http://www.myspleen.net/)

I've reposted Building Empire NTSC on Demonoid.  I've also posted the Dual Layer NTSC version of Returning to Jedi for the first time ever.

I personally would like someone to up the miami FF version that is single layer i believe.

But there is little chance i will get to see the new version, just like i cannot get the babyhum behind the myth release that has those new bits that were added to building empire v2.

If they end up on newsgroups or rapidshit, i can only do pif, blanks and postage, or torrent.

I already pay highway robbery for fios why should i have to pay for both a rapidshare account and newsgroup access to ab star wars.

Hi,

This is my first post, but I'm a long time reader of these forums and have seen Jambe's work on YouTube. I've been a fan of the Star Wars movies since seeing the original in the cinema in 78, and have since built up a good collection mostly of original trilogy items, as well as being involved in organising the 'Star Wars Day' charity conventions in Honiton, Devon.

If Jambe, or anyone else in the UK, is willing to send me a PAL DVD copy of the Miami editions of both Building Empire and Returning to Jedi, I've already got several friends who I would like to pass copies on to.

Once I receive the DVDs, I will also post on the forums here and offer to send free copies to the first 5 people who contact me requesting one.

Hope someone can kindly help me out!

Cheers,

Andy

Building Empire - Miami Film Festival Edition is now being posted to alt.binaries.starwars. (Sorry about the lack of an NFO file, I didn't have time to write one.)

The ISO image was built directly from the PAL DVD that Jambe sent me; it came out at around 5.05GB in size. An MDS file is also included for the convenience of ImgBurn users. Burn the image to a DVD+R DL.

As JD mentioned previously, this edition differs from the original in that it includes certain fixes and corrections, as well as footage from the 'lost' 'Making of The Empire Strikes Back' documentary thanks to Darth Neo. The disc doesn't include any of the extras that were on the original release, it's simply the feature length doco with a one-button static menu.
