... But that Star Destroyer is probably the envy of every fan here, that doesnt look like a kit but more like a personal project of some sort (not like id know though, its just like the command centre looks like its waiting to be carved or somthing, am i right?). Just how big is that?

If you the right, repeating part of picture, use the air-brush to overpaint some parts of the pic you get this.

This is almost identical to the pic from DC box, it is even a bit better, the DC box pic is clipped.

Anyone ever made a custom box with this image?

OK, here is a preview of the lego covers that I am working on for pat. I still have to do the bonus disc case, and let me know if you guys have any suggestions on these three. I tried to keep the original idea, just make them consistent.

Ever finish these, CPR?

ONE MORE! I'm looking for a logo for ROTJ, hi-res, similar to the one shown below on the right.

I'm attempting to put the Jabba painting from the Supplemental Material set onto this poster, so it will match the rest of this set. So any logo like it would help! Or, you could be the nicest guy around and do it for me. Not gonna really ask for that though because that's just being greedy.

I am a big fan of The Lucasfilm Pwnage Edition. I finally got around to burning a disc and made a cover and disc label for myself. I used one of Falle's covers as a starting point but heavily modified it using the official Pwnage cover's descriptions.

They can be downloaded here.

Thanks for the cover, MA.

(Off-topic - was able to download from RapidShare and it didn't ask me to look for that stupid f**kin cat this time!)

That's awesome!!

Why go to all that bother though when you can just CG it? :P

What ever happened to Coov? I haven't seen him on here in a while. I miss his creativity...

I put this in Ady's SW:R thread, but I have a feeling it's going to get lost in there. ;-)

For those that are interested, I whipped up my own contribution to the ever growing SW:R artwork collection - a track listing insert. It assumes you did what I did...made SW:R into a 2-disc set - DVD9 as the "main" disc and Purist as the "bonus" disc. I'm working on single disc versions.

Get it from my web site I've also got some other ones there for other films.

I used slightly cropped versions of Ady's cover art for the outer pages with a scan of a vintage poster for the inner artwork. I also had to modify Ady's artwork ever so slightly...see if you can tell what I did.

It works like this - get yourself some thin photo paper, or heavy regular paper, that has the same sheen on both sides. A lot of photo papers are only glossy/matte on one side and are "standard paper grade" on the other.

Fire up your graphics program of choice and load one of the parts - doesn't matter which. Adjust the margin settings so it will print perfectly centered on the page both horizontally and vertically. Print. Load the other part and print it the same way on the other side of the page.

Cut out and fold in half.

My outlook on life - we’re all on the Hindenburg anyway…no point fighting over the window seat.

(shameless cross-post from the General forum)

I like to imagine a parallel universe where Star Wars was a flop, but it was eventually given a superb DVD release. Here is the cover from that parallel universe:

Neat, haven't seen some new covers in awhile.  Although, isn't Star Wars the story of a boy, a girl, and a galaxy?

That line is from the 1976 trailer with the temp soundtrack. I just checked again (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwYOpQOiL5Q), and it is "universe", not "galaxy".

FYI, the cover has been tweaked slightly from yesterday to correct misspellings.

Are those old Coov burgundy faux-leather OT covers with the original poster art posted online anywhere? Anybody still got them? I have ANH but I want to complete my collection. Thanks!

Did anyone ever make a DVD cover and disc art for Adywan's PURIST edition?

I see chapter inserts for it on Adywan's page over on Fanedit.com, but no cover or disc art.
