Converting framenumber to timecode

 (Edited)
I have a .txt file with a list of framenumbers (representing chapter points). I want these chapterpoints to be encoded as I frames in CCE but it requires them to be added as timecode (hours.minutes.seconds.frames). Is there a quick way to convert the framenumbers to timecode with a tool or in excel?

I went through a similar process when I made my custom SW DVD - I ended up feeding the numbers into Excel.

Points to note:
- if the framenumbers in your celltimes.txt are from an NTSC DVD, you need to multiply by 0.8 to take account of 3:2 pulldown
- CCE starts at 1hr 0min 0sec 0frames, so you need to add 86400 frames to each number.
- Even though the frame rate is 23.976fps, CCE assumes 24fps.
- In CCE SP2, the chapter import broke the pulldown pattern. I went back to SP.

I made the list of chapterpoints myself (I opened the 23.976 progressive file in virtualdub and copied the framenumbers I want as chapterpoints to excel).

But I'm not very good with excel. I can make basic formulas but I can't turn a number into timecode. Do you have a formula to do that?

Here's how I did it. Not the most elegant spreadsheet, but it worked...

(You won't need the "Adjusted Frame Number" column.)

Then copy columns K to O, from row 2 onwards to the last chapter, and "paste values" into another worksheet. Save this worksheet as a csv file, then you can import straight into CCE.
