Hi guys,

Does anyone knows if there are any plans of releasing Howard The Duck & Captain EO on DVD soon or in the future?? I can't describe really how much I want it on DVD and I hope that it will be released sometime soon

Yeah, that Howard the Duck is one of the best flops of all time, I'd seriously like to have it.

Does it seem likely that Captain EO will ever be released commercially? Wasn't it a theme park attraction?

Howard the Duck is getting its first DVD release, though its only an R2 disk. The cover says "uncut", though I don't know what was ever cut out of it.

Howard the Duck is already out on R2 DVD in Germany; this DVD is also uncut (I bought it - at the time I didn't realise it was going to get a UK release).

Previous video releases in the UK were missing the condom in wallet scene and had a shorter "tongue in the lighter socket" scene.

Does it have some awesome new CGI added pointlessly to it? If it doesn't, it isn't *really* a Lucasfilm product.
