If you watch all the star wars movies the opening crawls are all at different widths. TESB is the worst offender which looks very zoomed in compared to the other films. As long as they are all the same speed, size and colour thats ok by me.

I'm sure you meant "whet" - meaning "to stimulate", rather than "wet" which means "to dampen".

I decided to hold my tongue on that one lest my name be listed among those who don't get a copy. Seeing as how I'm champing at the bit and all...

Can anyone EASILY put these pics somewhere else? If not, it's no big deal.

The computer I'm on right now won't let me access imageshack. But I can see them later. It's just hard to be patient.

Looks wonderful, thank you adywan. Your color correction is so good, its a shame that at the same time you were working on your SE you didn't do a definitive OOT of Star Wars as well.....I make no apologies that I am a OOT fan first, but YOUR version or should I say vision of an SE version of Star Wars is wonderful as well....fantasic. You have done so much for all of us, thank you sir.

I love everybody. Lets all smoke some reefer and chill. Hug and kisses for everybody.

Good work as always Ady.

Erik, you still are having problems with the pics? Maybe photobucket works for you. And sorry all if you didn't want to see em all again! ;P

Am I seeing this right ady? Did you take the original sandcrawler footage and combine it with the 3PO "help"?

Yavin and the DS. Lightsaber enhancements. Color correction.

This is all amazing work.

Absolutely fantastic work, sir. The new schematic and Yavin shots in particular look amazing, and the lightsaber/blaster fixes, along with the color correction, make everything in the world (Star Wars and otherwise) seem all right.

You should really be very proud of the work you've done.

Take care,
Sojourn

Sluggo, thanks for trying, but that doesn't work for me either. I'll just have to wait a few hours.

Oh man! Star Wars is once again the film I saw in my imagination when I was 4 years old! Except now, it comes at me as an adult with all the grandeur and splendour my 4-year-old imagination envisioned all those decades ago! Ady', you've done me a great service. I was excited about the 1997 special edition, only to be horribly let down in two ways - the SE sucked and the original version was lost to home video - Now, I have the SE I always wanted! About five years ago, an Indiana Jones fan finally made the right hat from Raiders of the Lost Ark and started reproducing it for other fans who were constantly disappointed with the "official" Lucasfilm Indy hat. In much the same way, Adywan, a Star Wars fan, has done what no amount of ILMers or Lucas' misspent millions could do - reinvigorate the original Star Wars fan base!

I think November's "release" of this edit will be a very historic moment and one that might make more waves than any of us expect...

Ady', you've achieved great impossibilities and never once have you let us down. Simply amazing. I watched the TIE attack clip and the trailer again today - I got chills and, despite my manliness, teared up a little bit - Boyhood joy is a long-lost emotion now found again in your work. Thank you...Thank you...Thank you.

Ah, I can see them now. VERY cool!

Adywan, on the screen with Leia and the stormtroopers, did you remove any black tape on the stormtroopers?

That is truly amazing. I too have gotten the case of the goosebumps from looking at the brilliant work of Adywan.

I await to watch the movie with my family. At least every other day I bring it up...my wife might have been getting angry had it not been for the fortunate fact that she is a Star Wars fan too.

Just wanted to echo the sentiments of everyone else here, Adywan. Your work is nothing short of AMAZING and I think it's safe to say that everyone here is in awe of what you've accomplished.

Heh, same here.
Looks mighty fine. If only Lucasfilm would have put that much love into the 2004 DVD set...

This is pretty sad, but I had a dream last night that Ady premiered this at a Star Wars film festival, and everyone from this board was in attendance. I say that to say this:

Ady, any plans for a screening somewhere? I'm sure it's something that the UK fans would be interested in...
