Okay i have the original trilogy on dvds with anamorphic widescreen and i want to take the menus off the 2006 dvd sets and put them on the other dvds that i have. How do i do that help is appritiated.

Rip the 2006 DVD to your hard drive, then use VobBlanker to replace the main movie PGC with the anamorphic version from your other discs.

Thanks for the help hopefully it will work and i wont have to watch the crappy 4:3 letter box versions.

Just a quick question do i also have to rip the anamorphic widescreen dvds too?

Yes you will need to have the files from the anamorphic DVD on your hard drive.

Is this a custom-made anamorphic DVD, or are you talking about the video from the 2004 DVDs? If it's a custom-made disc, then check it has the chapter stops at the correct positions. If it's the 2004 video, then your scene selection menu probably won't work properly.

The discs are custom made on the anamorphic disc and what dvd ripping program do you suggest that i use?

No need to use a ripping program - if they are custom discs, they won't be encrypted. Just copy the files to your hard drive.
