Info Wanted: Please someone confirm details of NTSC GOUT for audio synch?

Checking a rip of my official PAL Region 2/4 DVD, I get the following details:

Total frames: 174241
Running time @25fps: = 1:56:09.640

[SW logo appears frame 689, 0:00:27.560]

Can someone who has the Region 1 disc please provide me with the same information for the NTSC discs? (This is so I can help Belbucus with the mono mix synch process).

Software used:
WindowsXP SP2 + VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.2
Linux-2.6.13 + Avidemux-2.1.2

Both agree that the title card appears at frame 689.
VirtualDubMod calls it 00:00:28.737 (23.976 fps)
while Avidemux calls it 00:00:22.989 (29.97 fps)

23.976 is the correct frame rate. Perhaps the newest Avidemux-2.3 would do a better job recognizing the telecine flag ?

VirtualDubMod says 174,258 frames
while Avidemux says 174,257.
Both begin at frame 0. Hmmm...

However, in practice you must take into account the “fuckwit factor”. Just talk to Darth Mallwalker…

Just had another look at this thread and noticed you had edited your post. Thanks for the info DM.

VDubMod gives 174260 frames for my "unofficial" NTSC version, but DGIndex gives 174258. (Not that it makes any difference to the audio sync, because the extra frames are at the end of the file.)
