I am half way through it now(version 2),i also watched about 30 mins of version 1 just to see the difference,and it looks great,damn good as a matter of fact,and was wondering what is wrong with the sound,it sounds pretty good to me,except it doesnt have the COOL narration,did you say that the DC LD has better sound,than what you have on this?
well time to go un pause and finish

ps i have acquired the HD source files for Resident Evil Apocalypse(thanks Segaflip) would you be interested in putting that to DVD?
1 more thing,can you tell me the SPECIFIC differences between the DC and Criterion version of BR,I think i know what they all are but not sure,the only added scene in the DC was the Unicorn right?other than that it was all subtractions,gore,violence,happy ending, is this correct?

since i only watched about 25-30 mins of v1,this is my take,the only thing that seemed to stand out was the fan blades in the room where leon was getting his test about not helping the turtle,they seemed to spin different,than in v2(but i might have just been seeing things LOL)but in all honosty,i have to admit "can you SEE a difference between my original release and this one?"not really,they both looked and sounded great,i guess if someone can see the difference with there naked eye,they must have telescopic/micrometer/bionic eyes,you wanted honosty and you will get it,that is my take,but i really appreciate you sending me this,thanks alot

maybe someones naked eye can see it clearly,but i am a honost guy and i didnt see anything,i mean it seems v2 runs smoother i guess,but maybe let an expert check it out,any particular scene you want moth3r? i can clip a little bit and send it your way.

Anything with motion. As you've already mentioned the fan blades, that would be a good example.

well i have the clip rar'd it is 77.5 mb,but everytime i try to up it,my damn pc freezes up after a while,and i have to run repair on my local area connection,something is F'd up,i tried Megaupload,Rapidshare,and Yousendit,same prob on all 3,i have never had this problem before,i was always able to upload samples for you in the past(Moth3r).
i will keep the sample on my PC and try again later

go ahead Digital,i just tried again and same friggin problem,my browser just screws up and i have to close out and run repair local connection,before i can get back on,i have no idea what the hell is going on.

It appears to be correctly encoded at 23.976 progressive frames per second.

No audio though?

A word of caution - I get an average video bitrate of around 9070kbps. I'm not sure, but I suspect that some standalones may have problems with this, especially when reading off a DVDR. The maximum allowable instantaneous video bitrate on DVD is 9800kbps. The maximum for the stream including audio, subtitles and overheads is 10080kbps. Clearly you do not have space for a LPCM audio track with this video.

I'd recommend you check the finished disc on a few players beforehand, it may be OK.

I'm not making an LPCM track. It will still be Dolby Digital.

No audio on that clip. I just wanted people to download the video because that was the major problem. I haven't gotten my copy of the laserdisc yet and once I do, I will sync that up.

Did you have a problem with my original release? Is this one different/better? Please let me know. That was the whole point of this exercise and it seems like people aren't responding at all.

it will work with what you've downloaded.

if it's stuck at 99.9, isn't it being seeded now? Not even I have a complete 100% copy, for some reason.

Yes I did. Thank you. I've been so madonna-d out at this point. Tonight is my 5th show this tour and in the last 8 days. I'm exhausted.

and yes i know that the movie works just fine without the 0.1% (needed: nfo, md5 and some of the cover). it´s just that people who i pif this to seem to verify my burns against the torrent files. but.. it´s fine this way. thanks again for the info.
