PAL or NTSC what is better to work with?

Just wondered what is considered easier to work/edit with when doing a fan edit? Let's say you were going to work with just the MPEG Vob files, with little or no recompression.

I'm not suggesting converting one format to another, just a general question about the formats.

Thanks

Between an NTSC source (23.976 fps progressive) and a PAL source (25 fps progressive) - neither is more difficult to edit.

But PAL has 25% fewer letters than NTSC, making it easier to type.

Interlaced NTSC and having to deal with 3:2 pulldown has made me refrain from working with NTSC.
