I just put one of these Star Wars discs in my Cyberhome set top recorder for the first time. For some crazy reason, it will only play the DVD-rom content, not the video! It just goes directly to one of the wallpapers and I can scoll thru them, but I can't play it like a normal DVD! Anyone come acrros this? What can I do? Is there some setting I can change? I tried the cyberhome web page with no luck.
Well it's EditDroid ANH with subtitles that I added. On other DVD players it plays fine. I may have renamed the DVD-Rom folder. I forget if it was labeled "content", but now it's called DVD-Rom. I don't think that would matter. I burned it with Nero. How can I check the hierarcy? I'm going to try once more with DVDit.
I don't think so, but I'm in the process of redoing it with DVDit, also because it needed to be redone anyway. DVDit didn't like it, probably because it has a 300mb vob file linked before a 1gb vob file. I used magiciso to make aniso and got then used it to burn the iso. Same result. Plays on other DVD players and the PC recognizes it as a DVD video, but still a rom to the cyberhome. I wonder if adding an audio_ts folder would help?
