how do I post my caps of the two versions I have to comapre quality?

Remember, Highlander, you’ve both still got your full measure of life. Use it well, and your future will be glorious.

I think you need to host them online somewhere first, Mitch. Then you can link to them from within this reply screen. The 'Image' button next to the 'U'nderscore button, brings up a message box to enter a URL.

Can I make a request?

A stills gallery?
Text based, readable scans of articles?
Ridlygrams?
Preproduction art?
Storyboards?

I've recently seen an original trailer (I think it was on the DigitalFreakNYCs HD release) and it was rather jittery and scratchy. Maybe someone has a better copy of it somewhere? I've had some success fixing jittery sequences using AfterEffects, and, I am no longer set up to do this kinda thing. Anyone else able to?

Just thought I'd ask.

Actually, this is the version of the promotional art that is my favourite.

Sounds interesting to me.

I had the 15 GB HD files, but unfortunately lost most of them after my computer crashed.

Rikter:
There is an auction for an "On the Edge of Blade Runner" DVD-R currently on ebay. If you read through the description it seems to have a few other TV snippets, maybe you'll want them?

This could be the DEFINITIVE 2006 Archival version. I can't wait to see all the material come together for this. All together in one set. Sweet.

I'd be interested in a no-frills DVDR (not DVD9) release of the director's cut, encoded from the HDTV source using CCE, with the original 2.0 Dolby Surround audio.

I'd like to see a single layer dvd sized xvid encode from the HDTV source, if the source files can be shopped out to somebody with the knowhow--that would be a huge step forward in preserving the HD transfer.

Rikter, there's somebody on these boards who had a 3-disc set, that included a bunch of clips on the 2nd disc. I don't have the set, but I do have the cover, perhaps if you track down that person he/she can help you.

This sounds remarkably like a set I bought off ebay a few months back. Want me to send it to you so you can compare?

Well my vote is that I would love to see a 4 disc Box Set (If it includes the work print version and the bonus interviews)!

Hey Gang,

Well I just wrapped up 4 hours of working on the first 20 minutes of the isolated score; it is taking a few different soundtracks to complete but so far it seems WAY COOL!!

Anyway off to bed as I need to swap out a carburetor and exhaust manifold on my 69’ wagon tomorrow if the weather permits

If I can get 20 minutes done a night it should take about a week or so to complete the new isolated sound mix, but I will also seek out better source materials as I’m working on it!

DIGGITY!

Hopefully Rikter you're working from FLAC/WAV files rather than MP3, though if there isn't anybody with lossless files it makes sense to use MP3. Unfortunate though. I have the following if any could be of help, whether there's no uncompressed versions available for these that you have access to or if my MP3s are of a higher bitrate...
* Gongo Edition (128kbps MP3s)
* Los Angeles 2019 (320kbps MP3s)
* Deck Definitive (320kbps MP3s)
* Esper Edition v2.0 (Bitrates vary, ie. some files are 192, some are 224, some 256 and some 320 - all CBR, no VBRs)

I have to say I'm glad an isolated score track is being constructed. I hope that the eventual official release will contain one.

ALSO: I have a list of material here that are merely suggestions for inclusion. I doubt anyone will go on ebay to buy these, but if anybody owns any of these, perhaps they could provide them. Of course, in the case of the books, we probably couldn't use them (copyright), but the magazines are long out of print, so the magazine articles should be okay...

Some suggestions:

That is way too much for us to even gather just a couple of articles. However, I do think that the storyboard script (107 pages of storyboards), would make for a nice storyboard gallery on the DVD - it should definitely be included! And the Illustrated Blade Runner and Blade Runner Sketchbook would also be neat to have.

F.Y.I.

Over at that "World Famous Auction Site" (Listed in category: DVD, Film & TV > Film Memorabilia > Other Film Memorabilia
), there is/was a CD item with the auction title " HARRISON FORD BLADE RUNNER STUNNING RARE COLLECTORS CD "

From Description:
("THIS IS A FULL LENGTH SOUGHT AFTER VINTAGE INTERVIEW WITH HARRISON FORD WHERE HE TALKS ALL ABOUT THE MAKING OF BLADE RUNNER")

http://i5.ebayimg.com/02/i/02/9f/08/dd_1.JPG
Does anyone have this?

Is it an Offical CD, and is it out of print?

If it can be used, That content would be great for Rikter's "OFF-WORLD Box Set".

All you have to do is a search over at that site to find it. I'm not sure what the rule is about posting links to items for sale on E***.com is, so I will not.
