Now, that's a name I've not heard in a long time...a long time. I wonder what happened to him?

MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They’re certainly beyond any repair you’re capable of making.

MeBeJedi: You aren’t one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can’t say I find that very disappointing.

JediRandy: I won’t suck as much as a fan edit.

Can somebody tell me exactly wtf is the deal with Fletch and Mrs Doubtfire here?

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

1. This thread does not belong in the Star Wars forum. I'm moving it to the other forum.

2. Discussing bootlegs of movies where the official retail releases are out-of-print or hard to find is starting to toe the line. When discussions turn to selling and buying such bootlegs, the line has been crossed.

If you have Wal Mart near by, check the Dump Bin. I've saw Mrs Doubtfire there last week for $5.50 USD. I seem to remember Fletch but I can not be sure.

Absolutely! It sounds more like 'I just don't want to buy a copy or look for one' to me.

I think what makes this different from *preservation* at least in my opinion is that there's no *effort* in the 'preservation'. Its not like either title has not been available on DVD and someone is having to take another format (LD, VHS, etc) and convert to DVD. All this 'preservation' seems to amount to is "I've got the DVD and I'll copy it and give it away" (hopefully not sell). That's anyone's personal choice but there are so many other venues on the net for such pursuits that I can't see that its needed here.

This topic isn't really about preservation in my book. These DVDs have been available for a long time and can still be found at retail with a bit of hunting.
