What programs do folks here use for their DVD/other video capture? What programs do you use for your compression, if any? Editing? Burning? Just curious.

Does anyone have a preferred method of copying preservation DVD's? I also want to start making pro bono copies for my circle of friends but have had problems burning a few.

Final Cut Pro HD (av editing/capturing)
Compressor (encoder)
A. Pack (AC3 encoder)
DVD Studio Pro (dvd authoring)
Photoshop (menus/covers/labels)
Toast Titanium (burning VIDEO_TS folders)

As far as copying preservation dvd's goes, I have 2 dvd-drives and use Toast to do a direct disc to disc copy. Works great.
