A YouTube video explains the mono and stereo tracks used different audio for some of the original trilogy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaeTOMvf67c . The video is pro Special Edition. I am glad the Despecialized editions of the original Star Wars trilogy exists. The mono and stereo tracks are included.

It is that awful 4 hour “How to Watch Star Wars, Part Two: The Special Editions Are the Movies, Get Over It” video from Rick Worley.

There is already a discussion about it in here, posted by a troll, back in February:

How to Watch Star Wars, Part Two: The Special Editions Are the Movies, Get Over It

Surely there are better videos, articles, or threads for the different audio used in the Original Trilogy before the Special Editions? In here, maybe?:

An Index of OT•com threads on all things the Audio of the Original Trilogy

The OOT : The changes to the OT films & general OOT (1977 - 1996) discussion thread

An Index & Help Thread for Theatrical Cuts vs. Subsequent Releases

and probably in many of the discussion threads on here?
