I need to see what PixelJoker’s edit does first, but it’s possible. I’m pretty happy with it as-is.

I’m actually using a version of the duel in my AOTC edit that I’m working on right now!

I’m going to jump on the wagon, is it alright if I get instructions on obtaining a copy of this project as well?

Damn i was like one third of the way with the english subtitles. I guess ill get into translating into spanish the ones HAL did then.

I don’t know how I didn’t notice this before since I’ve watched this edit a couple times, but I just wanted to make sure you were aware that, at least in the copy I have, the screen cuts to black for a split second at 1:29:49. Not sure if this was intentional

• As mentioned above, there is a technical glitch at 1:29:49.

• Another technical thing that is a bigger undertaking… replace the source files with HQ rips from the 4K release. Colors are much better and this will help greatly with artifacts and crushed blacks from the Disney+ rip

• The musical cue when Leia is taken is a bit overdone. Maybe silence is better here? Some quieter echoey stings perhaps?

• There needs to be some explanation as to WHY Vader doesn’t continue pursuing Kenobi after their first fight. An AI line could help here, but what the reason is, I’m not sure. Maybe an AI line for a Stormtrooper stating that Reva has Leia and then Vader says something like: “Kenobi will come back to us.”

• Palpatine. This scene is essential to explain why Vader stops hunting Obi-Wan. It should go between the final Leia goodbye scene and the scene of Obi-Wan packing up to go meet Luke.

I don’t intend on a V4 except to maybe fix that black frame glitch that’s been mentioned. I’m otherwise happy with the edit.

Just a head’s up that I am finalizing a V4 of this edit with a BIG assist from Broom Kid. It uses the physical release as the source so the picture quality is significantly improved. There were also a couple of small technical errors like rogue black frames that have been called out and remedied. Broom Kid also made an awesome custom end credits suite that I’ve included.

Worth noting that there are literally no other changes than those above. So if you’re happy with the V3, please feel free to keep that one. The improvements are almost entirely technical.

I know many people have called out the need for various scenes to be included, but I will not be adding any additional scenes to this edit. I am very happy with it the way it is. I’m fine with people using this edit as a source/inspiration for their projects. This version will be the absolute final version, and the only one available once it’s ready.
