which software do you use to transfer NTSC footage to PAL or the opposite ?

NTSC to PAL conversion is very rarely necessary, because most equipment over here in PAL land will happily deal with NTSC video.

In terms of software, personally I would use VirtualDub/AVISynth for the video, and BeSweet/SoundTouch for the audio.

I just want to mix NTSC and PAL footage on one DVD, so I have to transfer one of them.
