Questions about SW DVD/Blu-ray's

I’m looking into expanding my home video collection of SW by including the DVD/Blu-rays, but first, I have a few questions about them, so there’s no confusion when purchasing them.

1. For the 2004 DVD Set, the fullscreen editions were released in a gold color, and the widescreen editions were released in a silver color. For the 2006 Limited Edition Set, what was the official box art for it? I ask because I see different box art and DVD covers for this one.

2. Were the official PT DVDs released as a box set?

3. For the 2011 “The Complete Saga” Blu-ray Set, there’s one set that looks like this,

The original release of the GOUT had gold colored headers, with the box art being photoshopped recreations of theatrical posters. There was a second release in 2008 that was a whole trilogy box set, with Luke and Vader fighting over a blue background on the cover, so that might explain the confusion.

Yes, to accompany the GOUT box set released in 2008. The cover had a matching design to the OT cover, with Anakin and Obi-Wan fighting over a red background. There were no changes from the individual releases though.

What’s the difference between the two release-wise?

The first one was the initial release of that version, done in 2011. The second one was a rerelease done to promote The Force Awakens in 2015. However, there are no differences in actual content.

Yeah, those are the ones.

Also, is this the initial box set release for the GOUT?

No, that’s an alternate cover for the 2004 set, I think. The GOUTs were only released individually at first, and didn’t get a box set until the 2008 sets.

Since you put it that way, I noticed one set of covers for the GOUT has a banner that says: Exclusive Bonus Material! Includes 1977/1980/1983 Theatrical Version Available For Limited Time Only!

And another set with a banner that says: Limited Time Only Includes The Digitally Remastered Movie Plus The Original Theatrical Version

Is the former the initial release and the other a re-release that came out before the 2008 set?

Last question, does the 2020 UHD Blu-ray Box Set include these extras?

I can confirm that “A Final Alliance” is the only feature not included on the 4K set.

I wonder if some fans prefer the 2011 SE cuts to the 2019 SE version? Or if those fans with both sets mostly just watch the latest 2019 release?

I imagine that not many fans watch the 2004 release, other than for curiosity or nostalgia sake?

I watched the 2004 version of ROTJ this week . I will always prefer the original cuts , but sometimes pop the 2004 version in because at least there’s no Vader screaming Noooo! In that version . Also was testing out a multi speaker sound set up of mine .
