Well, I think there are 3 pixels in Luke’s X-Wing in the Battle of Yavin that wasnt there when they show his ship after they destroyed the Death Star. I think that should be fixed!

I was trying to find anything to fix any continuity problem in the film. Why are you making it a joke.

Even now, I just realize that I constantly forget that Ady said, “i won’t be taking any suggestions for changes/ fixes” on the opening page of this forum.

Since Adywan is using the Rogue One matte for the Death Star laser tunnel, does that mean he’ll have the Death Star plans look like how they do Rogue One, with the dish in the center?

I’m also curious if the Falcon targeting monitors in ANH:R HD are going to be the same as the SD version, or if they’ll revert back to the original version, since The Force Awakens shows them that way?

In Rouge One, when Jyn transmits the Death Star plans to Admiral Raddus, the plans are reminiscent of the original look of them shown in the original theatrical version of Star Wars (1977).

For the other graphics, I don’t think there will be much changes to them. That is, if the Falcon’s targeting computers are changed back to the original, as it was shown in TFA. But, I don’t know.

I know that, but in the SD version of ANH:R, which came out several years before Rogue One, Adywan redesigned the Death Star plans using the hologram from Attack of the Clones.

Well, it’s really up to Ady. Earlier, I think he said he was going to try to keep some continuity of Rogue One, and maybe a bit from the original theatrical version. But, his decision as of right now, I don’t know because, on the SWRevisited FB Page, it said for ANH; “ANH:R will deviate only slightly from the theatrical version.

Ady, if you have time, could you explain your plans for this subject?

Four more questions, if you don’t mind, Ady.

Since the shot of the severed arm will have the original furry hand now, will it still have blood, or will it be cauterized like in Revisited SD?

Will the Blu-Ray audio be DTS-HD MA?

What kind of menu designs do you have in mind for the Blu-Rays?

Is the aspect ratio going to be 2.35:1, like the 2011 Blu-Rays, or 2.39:1, like the 2020 Blu-Rays?

I would love to see the plans morph (extract from .zip file haha) from the OG/RogueOne version to the enhanced ones from the original Revisited, just colored white instead of read.

The Skywalker Saga:
I · II · III · IV · V · VI · VII · VIII · IX
This is the way.

What do you mean? Do you want it to go through some kind of “system update”?

Have the old graphics transition into Ady’s existing Revisited version… so yeah!

R2 plugged into the Death Star right? Maybe he downloaded v2

I suggested that a while back.

I really liked all these changes that are going to be taken out of HD. However, Adywan has made great decisions so far. I’m sure there are still many great surprises ahead for Star Wars HD. Star Wars: Revisited doesn’t do away with the original version if you prefer to watch it, and it won’t erase DVD 9 - it will still be around. I’m also pretty confident others will fan-edit Revisted HD with clips from DVD 9 once it’s complete. There will be A version of Star Wars for everyone.

Аs far as I understand, the Standart Defenition of AHN:R is actually DVD-9, right?
I’m wondering is there any upscaled to 1080p version of the Standart Defenition, made by someone?
😀

Maybe there’s a reason that the plans are on a data file that shows an earlier configuration of the station, perhaps the logic was that the file would be accessed less and no one would notice anything. Or open the file and look at it and say, oh, old data, pay it no mind and look for a newer version of plans.
The location of the dish is not something that bothers me in the least.
Some people see a flub that they can’t watch around, I just look at and think there’s a reason in this case. NBD.

My personal favorite is the red AOTC plans, because I like the prequels and also it’s consistent with Lucas’ use of red in association with the villains (which is why I also like it when people change the display C-3PO shows of the tractor beam controls to red). White is a color more associated with the heroes (because you know, black/red devil, white angel? It’s been there since the beginning). It’s a part of Lucas’ symbolic color coding. The AOTC hologram also looks way more advanced and interesting to look at. And it’s consistent with ESB graphics that can be seen in the background that are also red.

I have a feeling tho that the HD version won’t have the red AOTC plans considering Adywan’s personal preferences, and if that’s the case then I can just use the upscaled clips of the SD version from telecine’s edit.

I’m surprised it was never fixed for the Special Edition.

Obviously don’t have a clue what Adywan is plannig, but I’d say best option would be to keep the OG style of plans but tweak them slightly so that the dish is allined correctly. That way it won’t be unfaithful to the orginal it will still play well with the Rogue One version and it will look more plausable in terms of consistancy with the rest of the film. (it will actually look like the death star)

I hope so, I like it. It’s not too intrusive and it makes it look more interesting.

But the trends of the edit and the editor tell me no. And if that is I won’t mind too much.

I’m planning on upscaling it next time I go away for a weekend. The job should take about 20 hours on my PC via Topaz Video Enhance
