Audio Sync Question

Author
Time
Hey guys I was thinking about making a multi audio track DVD and was wondering if anyone could recommend some software that I could use to make sure the audio is sync'd up. A free program would be great but whatever helps.

Although some would recommend the non-linear editing packages like Premiere or Vegas, there are free alternatives. I synced up the ANH mono soundmix using VirtualDub and AVISynth. It's time consuming, but - if you have a video reference locked to the audio you are working with - very easy.

There is also a filter for AVISynth called AudioGraph which can be useful.

Thanks Moth3r, I have Premiere but Mpeg2 video does not play back right in it, and dont feel like messing around try to get it to work either. VirtualDub and AVISynth work great for me so I will give it a try.

how do you take a mono track source and make it stereo?

Womble MPEG Video Wizard allows you to load in a video track and two audio tracks. This should let you preview before you author fairly easily.
